2023 Kick Off 2 World Cup STORIES

Post by LORENZO L »

Part 1 : The journey to Torremolinos began for me on October 23rd when I had to pack my suitcase to go to Treviso for work. I would never go home again!! so I also had to bring the suitcase with the joysticks and the almost summer gearboxes, when in Treviso the temperature was 5 degrees. The worst thing was not being able to train online anymore because I didn't have a connection where I slept. So I had to invent a station in the bathroom of my work to be able to train alone, but don't ask me to show it to you because I'm so ashamed :) On Friday we had a very early plane from Milan and I left Teviso in the morning . Luckily Alessandro offered me a splendidly warm and welcoming bed in his sweet home and with his splendid family. I couldn't have started the trip better. Now the toxins of work were starting to pass. At 4:18 we picked up the Champion. I knew that we would be on the road for the last time Champion and Vice (but I didn't imagine, unfortunately for him).
Once I arrived in Torremolinos, my choices of light clothes from 15 days earlier were spot on and the pleasant sight of Rodolfo and his partner gave me even more happiness. As well as that of Jorn and Mark, Michael, also Klaus Cornelius and the knowledge of the Frenchman Stephane. We went to Malaga for a wonderful tour of the city and meeting Frank and his wife was very pleasant. Touring the city with all of them and then eating paella with Alessandro and the Champion, after seeing the games museum was truly relaxing in its pure state. In the evening I was so tired and awake from 3am in the morning that I was grateful I hadn't made a reservation for dinner and fell asleep.

Part 2 Torremolinos
On Saturday morning I discovered even more the wonderful welcome and warmth that this city gave to people despite being a tourist city, I felt very kindly welcomed when I went to have breakfast at the bar. Maybe also from my knowledge of the Spanish language, given my luck in being married to Lety who is Mexican :)
Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived in the room, Rodolfo warned us that Alkis would be late due to a delay in his plane. I don't want to imagine how nervous he was about this terrible situation, but we were all aware that we would wait for him to arrive before starting the tournament.
Before the lunch break and at the same time as Alkis's arrival, here are the draws for the first day: Andy, who I finally hugged again and saw again after 4 years and who I beat for the first time in a tournament (thanks to his just 30 goals scored on the first day) Victory hard-fought in the all-Italian derby against Alessandro, a draw in a very tactical match against the history of Greece Nikos, an undeserved victory with Fran who could have equalized if he hadn't kicked a penalty onto the post and victories with Michael Jaume and Luis where in the they had made me suffer in the first half. In the end I managed to get a first place in the first round for the first time in 11 World Championships.
I was very happy I must admit. In the evening I didn't want to overdo it so with Mario and his son Marco and Fabio we went to dinner early and then went to sleep at 11pm knowing that the next day would be very decisive

Part 3 and last: Torremolinos
The daylight on Sunday morning and the smell of the air had a special flavor that I will not easily forget as did the clean sea and zero air pollution.
Entering the room I sensed a certain nervousness on the part of almost all the players including myself, as the first matches would have influenced the group rankings. During the night Gianni had warned me of the combination of my second group: Thor Chris Alkis Frank Mario Samuel and Alessandro again. I am aware that there was no joking in the other group either but I am convinced that ours was a little tougher than the other. Mario still doesn't want to believe me but for this very reason, to avoid a decisive clash with him in the last few games, I asked him if he wanted to play with me straight away. Beating him was really tough and I managed to do what I set out to do, but I was also lucky because he didn't manage to score the goals he would have liked. For me Mario is a top 4
I shouldn't have let my concentration drop because I would soon have to meet Alkis and Frank with whom my story doesn't have pleasant results at all. I saw Alkis very focused and with tactical innovations that really surprised me. The result shouldn't be deceiving because it was really hard to beat him and for me it was an honor to do it. Same thing with Frank, maybe I have to see but I hadn't beaten him in 10 years or even more. The second victory with Alessandro and the one with Samuel allowed me to jump to first place together with Thor. Even now that I'm writing it, I don't realize that I actually did it. During the match with Thor he was really worried that he wanted to attack me with his sword, because his players were coming from all over the pitch and I felt like I was being bombarded, but despite everything I managed to make it 3-1 for myself, committing a huge mistake!! Alas, I celebrated my third goal and I never do this out of respect for the opponent, and I am sure that this increased in him the desire to regain the result and in fact right at the end he managed to equalize. Who knows what would have happened if I had arrived before him? even though I then drew again and suffered with Chris, placing myself definitively in second place but above all still undefeated. My goal of remaining in the top 8 was achieved, but to still be undefeated was an immense joy.
At this point I would have gotten Fabio and honestly he is one of the few I can never think of how to deal with and in fact he was my sniper and twice he beat me and eliminated me from the tournament. I tried to face the following matches with maximum concentration and after losing 3-1 to Chris (super good and precise) I managed to draw the second match at the last minute. I played for seventh and eighth place with Oliver and it was really exciting to play with him because we faced each other head on, and I had confirmation of his skill, because in fact I lost the first match 3-5 while the second I managed to win 4-3 even though the kick off game wanted to give us an unexpected bug that perhaps made both Oliver and me nervous.
With eighth place I am really happy with my growth over the last 3 years and as mentioned, confirming myself in the top 8 in the world was truly an exceptional result.
A special thanks again to all of you and see you next year

Thank you Lorenzo!

I am sorry though, but my story will have to wait a bit, until I have finished the new Christmas-song I'm working on. ;)

This time my story began last Sunday in Greece when I started to hear that the next World Cup would be in Malaga... what the hell! I thought it was a joke. I was talking to Fran and we were wondering why they would have said that. We are from Malaga, how could it be that we still didn't know that? Days later I found out that it was Rodolfo's idea. At first I thought that we were not prepared to organize a World Cup, we talked about it and we realized that it could be possible. We had enough Amiga, the problem was the TVs. I contacted a Retrocomputing association in Malaga (A.L.T.A.I.R.) and they offered to lend us the TVs for free and Fran and I took care of choosing the best ones. Luis offered to bring 7 additional Amiga. Everything is ready!!! Rodolfo took care of everything related to the gaming room, the accommodation, the secretaries and many other things, a great job from Rodolfo because he has been the boss all the time. Although many of us have collaborated, this World Cup has been possible thanks to Rodolfo.

It was a pleasure to see all the players I met in Greece again and to be able to meet many more players. As I said last year, it makes me very happy to see that you are all kind people.

The tournament for me started very well with several victories. Time to play against Robert S. who was above me in the seeding group, if I beat him I had a good chance of going to the Gold Cup, luckily I beat him 5-4. Once again I was expecting a tough Sunday. Saturday night was great because a lot of people were able to get together in the same restaurant and we had a good time.
On Sunday there were 3 Spaniards in the Gold Cup, we are very proud of that. Unfortunately we are the last 3 classified in the gold cup :D. My last 2 games were an honor to play against Rodolfo, he had a great first game 8-3 and in the second game I was one goal short of tying, it ended 5-1, 9-8 overall.

It makes me very happy to see that you all had a good time in Málaga and I hope we will repeat it again soon. I'm sorry for not having played more friendly matches but I was always making sure everything worked correctly. I want to thank the great Steve Camber for everything he does to make the kick off 2 world cups work correctly, without his work it would not be possible to do it.

I hope to see you next year guys.

What a World Cup weekend it was!!!

4 years after my previous World Cup, much thanks to Covid, of course, but also because I had to drop out of the WC last year. I was NOT gonna miss this. Looking at plane-tickets, comparing prices, etc, I soon concluded that I would travel wednesday - monday, so I was the first to arrive at the hotel, late wednesday night. After a quick bite to eat I strolled around the area, went to the beach in total darkness, and I could feel the emotions rising in me, waiting for the sun to get up in the morning.
Thursday morning I got up early, went to the rooftop-terrace for a work-out, then I went out, searching for a place to have breakfast. After a quick meal, I went out searching for the hotel with the game-room, and after first looking at the map the wrong direction, I managed to find the hotel. And what a hotel that was!!! Then I went to the beach, just enjoyed myself, walking with my feet in the sand. But after a while it was time to walk up to the trainstation to meet my roomie for the last many WC's.
Image
I was such a joy seeing Mark again, and we quickly got him checked in to the hotel. I'm not sure we managed to convince the receptionist that we were not a cuople though...
We soon found ourselves walking on the promenade (ffs, we were promenading, not walking!!!), ending up in the next town, walking around some really cool buldings from Star Wars.
Image

Anyway, it was time to head back, Rodolfo was supposed to arrive. And I was texting with Frank F, telling me that Cornelius was supposed to arrive on the thursday as well. Soon we were ganged up, Mark, me, Cornelius and Rodoldo. And in addition to Rodolfo we were also accompanied by a lovely new aquintance to us, his girlfriend Rusa. Such a lovely person she is. And how nicely she accepted us, with all our geek'ness.
Image

We did a little walking and a lot of talking, had lunch, checked out the gameroom, and did more walking/talking.
I also got messages from my good friend Michele, saying he had arrived, but that he was too tired to stay up.

Friday also started with a gym-session for me at the rooftop-terrace. What a way to start the day, in the sunrise!!! It was pure bliss.

Image

And during the day, people really started to come pouring in. We saw the italians arrive, all of a sudden Steve C arrived in a taxi, Peter and Michael popped up, so many good people.

Image

We went to Malaga for some tourism, where we also met Frank and Petra. Samu also met us in Malaga (I think it was Samu, I screw up the names of Fran and Samu all the time... sorry guys...)
Was gonna check out the games-museum, but opted out. I didn't feel up to it. I wanted to spend as much time in the sun as possible. While we were in Malaga we also got notified by Alkis that his plane was dealyed, and he would eventually end up spending the night in Istanbul, arriving at the WC not until around noon on saturday.

It was also a great joy to see Andy and his cousin there with us again.

Later, friday night brought us the first dinner with all the contestants, and what a nice evening it turned out to be! A really good choice of restaurant by our hosts! It was such a pleasure to see all the people, and Nikos was a person I didn't see arrive, but managed a quick chat at the restaurant. And he was gonna end up playing a part during the weekend.

Saturday I started with my daily routine of a work-out on the rooftop-terrace in the sunrise. I need that in my life. Every day!!! Breakfast with all the great people, then gameroom.

Image

I was in trouble, because I havent had a working joystick for 2 years, so absolutely no practice at all. I desperately tried to play both the CPU and quite a few games with Allesandro (who'd fixed one of my joysticks and brought it to me in Spain), and a few with others. But I could just sense I was completely off. And when we started playing the official matches I proved clearly how shitty my form was. I was shaky, nervous, unfocused, etc. Had my biggest loss ever handed to me by Thor, who'd later go on to win the WC again.
Luckily, I started, after many games, to find my footing again, so I managed to scrape in the needed wins to avoid the Game Of Shame.

Saturday night, Mark and I was just gonna go and grab dinner, but soon we was accompanied by Peter and Michael, Robert, Gianni, Allesandro, Frank, Petra, Steve C, Cornelius, and I even think there were more. We soon ended up building a long-table that was about to block the street, so we had to make it into a L shaped table. A really nice evening, and with excellent service from the restaurant.

Image

Image

Image

Sunday started differently than all the other days. Michael and I had agreed, with some others (names will be spared) to do an early morning swim, so we went to the beach in the sunrise. A fantastic experience to be walking on to the beach, facing the rising sun!!

Image

We both managed to get into the water, Michael MUCH cooler than me. I had to do a run-in, as the water was too cold for me. A quick swim under water, then it was time to get back up. Michael took the calmer approach. Such a cool dude!!!

Image

Then it was back to the games! Now it was sunday, and I was starting to get back into it. I played fairly well, managing to manouver my way into a position where I had the Silver Cup final in my crosshairs. What I needed was a win in my final match vs the noob Frederic.

Image
He would reach the final with every reslut other than a loss. I needed to win.
It was a competetive match, we were pretty equal in strengths, and pretty close to the end I managed to score and was up 3-2. I felt The Power of the Silver Cup surging through my body, I could smell it! But then Frederic proved his shady tactics by trying desperately to fall over one of my players sliding in my penalty-box. Unsucsessful. Damn!!! I was adamant that I was gonna win this!!! But then, what happens? The final kick of the match is him scoring a 3-3 goal. The ball barely crossed that goal-line, before the ref blew the whistle for full-time. WTF????

That lead Frederic to the Silver Cup Finals, while I played for position vs Nikos.
I was a be defleeted, but managed a 4-4 (if I remember it correctly) in the first match, just for Nikos to handle me pretty easily in the second match, placing me as no 20.
I left the room then, as I had to get dinner. Mark kept me into the loop with the SC final between Rob and Frederic, with Frederic beeing up with a solid lead at half-time, after sneaking a penalty the same way he tried vs me, just for Rob to pull back and win the damned game, for his first SC trophy.

My WC was over, now it was just the big-screen matches, medals, speeches and time to start saying goodbyes. The one that stung was Nikos saying this would be his last WC ever. I sure hope that's not gonna be the truth. You cannot leave us Nikos!!!

Thank you to all of you who was there and all you who made it happen - you know who you are.

I am allready eagerly awaiting next years World Cup, and I hope to see all of you again. And please, bring more friends.

I said it even before all the other people started arriving on thursday, this was gonna be the Best World Cup EVER! And I'd say it was. The combination of all these fantastic people, the friendships and the beach and the lovely weather! Couldnt've been better!!!

Friday

Although the world cup in Athens was a great experience for me socially, my performance was quite disappointing. I was particularly shocked to see how easy it was for many players to defend against me. I went from a 6.5 goal average in 14 World Cups to a lousy 4.13 in 2022. It was obvious to me that the game had evolved, and I felt like I needed to change something if I wanted to knock on the elite group's door ever again. It was time for some tough decisions, and the first one was to change my main formation to 4-2-4. The oversimplified reasoning behind this decision was that I'd rather lose matches by 7-6 than by 5-2. Of course, just changing formation will not take you far. I also decided to practice, and study the gameplay of my strongest opponents to try and copy some of their moves. I knew I could never play like Gianni or Thor, so I chose Fabio as the man to copy as his tactical approach amazes me. I particularly studied his moves whenever he attacks after a goal kick or the ball is in his keeper's hands, as he scores a ridiculous amount of goals then. Oh, and his kick off lob! So, I went to this World Cup with a PLAN (I made the mistake of describing it to Robert, which of course set me up for him taking the piss for the whole weekend) and hopes for some improvement.

I had been talking to my friends like my World Cup attendance was certain throughout the year, but the truth is I was only able to confirm rather late. The reason was that November was a very busy month at work, and I needed to be sure that taking time off would not cause any problems. That was the reason I did not book my arrival for earlier than Friday. I chose a layover in Istanbul, as that was the most convenient one in terms of arrival/departure times and costs at the time I booked the tickets. It took me forever to go through with the online check-in, as the website of Turkish Airlines did not appear to work correctly. Nikos had different times so I traveled alone. The departure was delayed by 20 minutes, I didn't think it would cause me any trouble as the layover was an hour and a half. And sure enough, we landed with no further delay. But then for some reason -I guess the airport was too busy- it took us 40 additional minutes to get off the plane. I talked to the flight attendants to let them know that I had a connect flight to Malaga, they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. There was no one waiting to take people who had connect flights to their gates as per usual procedure. The distance between the gates was too long, Murphy's law made it so I had to run to the other end of an extremely large airport. Just as I had my gate in sight and thought I was going to make it, I looked up at the board and saw "Last Call" change to "Gate Closed". 5 seconds later I was there but of course, nothing could be done. I had missed my flight.

A lady who barely spoke any English pointed me to the general direction of the desk where I could go find out what would happen next. I got there and texted Rodolfo to let him know what had happened while waiting in queue. As I'm sure you can imagine, I was worried sick as I felt that my World Cup attendance was in jeopardy. What if there were no other flights to Malaga in the next 24 hours? Would I need to travel to another Spanish city and then maybe take a bus? Would they even allow me to pick such a flight? The only good news was that I only had carry-ons on me, so no lost luggage to additionally worry about. Eventually, they put me on a Saturday morning flight to Malaga. I asked the clerk what time the flight would arrive to Spain, literally holding my breath for the answer. When the reply was "11:30" the relief I felt was beyond words. I missed Friday evening fun but I would be in Torremolinos in time for the games. The worst had been avoided, I could relax. There was a very long bus ride to the hotel in Istanbul, I met some nice Serbian guys who had missed their flight to Belgrade and even had dinner with them later on, chatting mostly about 90s basketball. The complimentary buffet was awful, but luckily you could order some decent food at very low prices. I spent the rest of the evening watching a couple of movies and feeling jealous over pictures of the rest of the KOAers getting together.

Saturday

I had to wake up very early, as the shuttle that would carry all the people who had missed their flights left at 5 am. There was heavy rain during the 1h+ ride, and I couldn't help but notice lightnings in the northwest. Would my flight be extremely bumpy, or even cancelled entirely? I arrived at the airport and saw that sure enough, flights were being cancelled left and right:

Image

I was gutted to see that my new friends would not get to travel to Belgrade after all. Of course, now that I had three hours until my flight, the gate I needed to reach was the closest of all. Luckily, the skies cleared in the meantime and the flight was lovely. I watched Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny expecting it to be crap and me to fall asleep, but it was actually quite good! I took a taxi from Malaga airport to the Moon Dreams hotel, checked in and gathered my stuff for the short walk to the Amaragua. I noticed with some amusement that I had forgotten to pack my Crystal Palace shirt, given to me by Steve Screech, which I always bring during world cups to wear in case I make it to the final. The thought never occured to me, as I was obviously not kidding myself any more. I arrived at the venue and registered, then said quick hellos to people left and right. I had made it even in time for the very original card draw. All was right with the world again.

Image
Fabien S - Alkis P 2-7

Meeting new people: Something I am never too happy to do, unless it's in Kick Off 2 World Cups! Especially when they give me the opportunity to speak French, something I rarely get to do. Incidentally, I also spoke French to Frederic, happy to finally see a Belgian player for the first time ever. Frederic at some point was saying something to me about a line, which I couldn't understand. What was that line about? He was asking me whether I ever played on line ("en ligne"), an expression that did not exist when I was living in Brussels as a teenager, and so I could not decipher!

Image
Michele L - Alkis P 3-9

In his 10th consecutive World Cup, Michele is the definition of loyalty. We all love his devotion and attitude towards the game.

Image
Rodolfo M - Alkis P 1-6

Next was the host, and I can't believe I am even writing the words Rodolfo and World Cup host in the same sentence! Once the loneliest traveler, now a part of a four-team organizing committee of a Spanish World Cup, I bet it felt surreal to him as well.

Image
Alkis P - Grzegorz P 3-2

Steve Camber later asked me what the hell happened in this game, how did I get so close to losing points to a player who ended up in the Game of Shame? I could say that I played like crap, but that would be unfair to Grzegorz. He actually gave me an excellent game, the closer to the end we got the more confident he became that he could get a result.

Image
Alkis P - Mark W 5-2

Just like Rodolfo, Mark is one of my oldest friends in the KOA. He was underperforming but for the second game in a row, I felt that my offense was not working again.

Image
Christopher D - Alkis P 5-3

Now for the big guns, time to see if the PLAN had any chance of working. And although I did not score that well, I gave Chris a good game. I think it was a draw at half time and 4-3 for a long time.

Image
Alkis P - Fabio F 3-9

A game I was really looking forward to, the one against the player I had studied more than anyone. The student against the unknowing teacher! And it was a disaster. Fabio scored on pretty much every attack. The only satisfaction I had was scoring his own kick off lob routine against him.

Image
Alkis P - Klaus L 7-2

One of the handful or survivors of Dartford 2001, Klaus is the second foreigner I ever played Kick Off 2 against, in a hotel room a day before the first official KOA tournament was even held. I'm glad we're still around!

I took a look at the other groups. 3 Spanish made it to the top 16, but Nikos and Robert didn't. Frederic looked like a very strong newcomer. After a very entertaining Game of Shame, it was time to regroup and go out for dinner. Two large KOA groups took over the same narrow street, the guy I ordered my arrabbiata from apparently heard "extra spicy" instead of "not too spicy" but other than that, it was a fantastic evening. I should point out that it felt great to meet David for the first time after e-knowing him for 20 years, as well as Rodolfo's nieces. Rodolfo used to tell me that he played Dyna Blaster with them on the Amiga when they were little, something I now do with my daughter, and here they were writing down our scores as young women. And, of course, I should not forget to mention Rusa, we teased Rodolfo a lot about her insinuating that she was imaginary before we were able to confirm that she was indeed flesh and blood.

Sunday

I had a very hard group in front of me, with several people who had defeated me the year before against whom I needed to seek 'revenge'.

Image
Mario F - Alkis P 9-3

The elder Fichera brother effortlessly swept me away, as easily as Fabio had. I was gutted.

Image
Alkis P- Alessandro V 9-5

Alessandro and I ignored all modern trends about constant tactic changes and clinical passing, and had a good old-fashioned lobfest.

Image
Samuel G - Alkis P 2-3

A very tough game against Samu, who had defeated me in Athens. I was very nervous and even missed a penalty kick at the end of the first half, but I managed to get that win and maintain my hopes for a place in the group's top four.

Alkis P - Christopher D 3-6

Another tough match, similar to the one we had on Saturday but again Chris defended very well and beat me a little more easily than in the first round.

Image

Alkis P - Frank 6-2

I was very focused in the match against Frank, right before the most crucial games.

Image

Thor S - Alkis P 3-2
I was desperate for a win against Thor, who had already secured the first place of the group. I gave him everything I had in what was probably my best match in Malaga, but I still couldn't get the necessary goals I needed. He looked bored, but kind enough to notice that I had changed my style.

Lorenzo L - Alkis P 5-2

Mario's win against Chris meant that my last game against Lorenzo was of no importance, as I could not qualify even with a win. I still tried my best, but again, only scored twice against a very difficult opponent who was still undefeated at that point.

Steve B - Alkis P 4-6
Alkis Steve B 6-5

My third consecutive 9th place final featured two very close games against Steve Baker, who had considerably improved since Athens with some outlandish results such as 8-8 versus Thor and 6-6 versus Andy. So, here I was, out of the quarter finals for three World Cups in a row, after being in them in my first 13 competitions. The PLAN had failed miserably; compared to 2022, my offense barely improved (4.88 instead of 4.13) while my defense clearly suffered (3.94 compared to 2.63). I made the Norwegians sweat for their wins, but my 4-0 / 4-4 against the Ficheras became two heavy 9-3 losses. And I can understand that. You don't turn into Dagh overnight just by switching to 4-2-4. Overall, my performance in Malaga was boring, completely devoid of excitement, the absolute PAR. I was seeded 9th and finished 9th. I beat every player who was seeded below me and lost to every player who was seeded above me. Even my ranking points were just 1.05 points. Will I stick to this formation in the future? Probably, I have not decided yet.

Speaking of the seedings, this year they were amazingly accurate. For the first time ever, the top 8 seeded players were in the quarter finals and the top 4 were in the semi finals. The biggest mistake was Mark, who performed way differently than his seeding but regulars may remember that he does it every time. In the next competition, we will put him in the 6th seeding group and he will beat me in the 9th place final, just wait and see. Some people after the end of the 1st round pointed out that we had placed Fran and Samu too low in the 5th seed, but considering that they ended up 14th and 16th respectively, it couldn't have been that wrong. It seems that we have a great number of players of similar strength for positions 9-20 who are very hard to rate, and will get different results each time they play against each other. Would it have been more accurate to seed Robert and Nikos in the 5th group?

I watched the final matches of the Silver Cup groups with great interest. The finalists were decided in the final seconds of the final matches of each group, with Jorn and Nikos losing their place by an inch. In the final, Frederic came very close to repeating the exact same performance Gabriele had the year before, winning the best defense trophy and the Silver Cup, but Robert exhibited cold blood in a way that I would have thought impossible a few years back, came back from trailing 0-3 to win it on extra time.

The final four was played at a level I can only dream of, especially the matchup between Andy and Thor was absolutely amazing. In the end, Thor prevailed in one more final and won his third gold medal. Then it was time for the ending ceremony, and I was happy to see Oliver receive his award, always an emotional moment for even the toughest bastards of us.

Sunday dinner was fantastic as expected. Somehow the word got out that I was the person who had initiated the "no alcohol in the tournament room" rule in the last two world cups, as three different people approached me to politely express their disagreement. Although I still think it's a good idea, it does seem to go against what the majority wants so I will not insist.

Monday

Tourism day! We visited Malaga with Rodolfo, Rusa, Cornelius, Alessandro, Robert and Gianni. It's not often that we get to walk around in short sleeves in world cups, I'm so glad we got to do it for two years in a row. We visited the castle and took some great pictures. Overall, it was a fantastic event. Even when things went wrong, like the software glitch, they were very quick and efficient to react. Rodolfo, Fran, Samu, Luis, Rusa, Clara and Elisa have every reason to feel proud and I thank them for their hospitality.
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November

Thanks Alkis! I laughed a lot in many points of your story!
I know you lost point just with the intention to say:" seen? I was right to place myself 9th".
thanks again!
