I just finished reading this, amazing work and very touching too, at least for me. I loved so many quotes, but particularly this one from Steve Screech:
It's interesting how often the game Kick Off crops up in daily life. On countless occasions, being picked up by a cab driver, a postman or courier delivering something, on being introduced to somebody of the right era, I have been asked... "You're not THE Steve Screech are you, the referee from Kick Off?". The game is bigger and more warmly thought of that we really know.
Very nice - for someone that has never attended a WC it was very insightful and an interesting read. I hope you never stop playing KO and keep holding these tournaments! =)
printed. Looking forward to reading it at the plane.

I nearly didn't make it to this year's World Cup - when I just saw the full page Tip Off advert (coming soon!) I laughed so hard I thought I might be hospitalized.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, those by pm too. Much work went into this but we feel we're (the KOA) worth it! I had the easy part in doing the research so huge credit should go to Evil for the creative magic he then applied to that, the intros, the adverts, all presented at an elite level. Like Alkis said there's some great contributions too from across the KOA and beyond. Thank you to everyone who took the time respond.
The first ten years of the KOA - let's celebrate it ffs!
