I played the Nutella with the keyboard and it was really hard to get a decent shot out. In TI the keyboard control is perfect!

Yea, Nutella isnt as good as Throw In gameplaywise but I am not surprised. Some of the GFX looks very good though such as the stadium and the pitches.

well you know, young guys cannot play with only 1 button and without CPU aids...

Yea we know.

I should have said. For joystick users the Throw in Gameplay is better.

I wouldnt be surprised if Nutella is better for keyboard users. Defenitely for young kids... :)

Everything is better without CPU aids. Can you imagine Kick Off without CPU slides, CPU jumps, CPU deciding to switch your players. It would be heaven.

Also when running with the ball in the box, wanting to trap it and the CPU deciding that you really need to slide instead.

I agree. Sadly the football industry is more about 'the more CPU aids the better'... :(

On amiga you played football games. Now you watch them.

I actually think this works quit well in Throw in and as far as I know the player won't slide if you are running with the ball and wanna trap it.

My point was to highlight that there are aids in the Amiga games too. Most of the 'aids' in kick off are much more intrusive than any aids in pro evolution soccer 6. In modern games I rarely have a problem with the game doing something that I didn't intend.

I wouldn't call that an 'aid';) :D

But you're a brave man, Mark, not taking the very strong bait :)
Actually I more agree with Gianluca, because the modern games depend very heavily on pushing the buttons at the right time. Mostly they annoy me because they are sluggish and the players have a stepsize of about 2 meters :P
Inspite that I like FIFA 2005 because it the annoyance is relatively low and you can make some nice plays. It's a game I occasionally play on X-box from the couch. Just some relaxed chess-like matches :)

But if there would come a game like Throw In with cups and leagues, I would cast FIFA aside and play it to death!

After playing some matches with the 0.071 beta, I have some small things I really would like to see changed in the next version:
1. redefine keys once in options screen, not before every match
2. change the assignment of the pgup and pgdn keys, because they are too close to the arrow keys (I keep hitting them by accident, giving away penalties)
3. less delay after a slide tackle
4. scorers names and minutes after the match
5. aftertouch on goalkeeper kicks
6. selectable shotpower on goalkeeper kicks
