Kaillera Servers - Speeds

Hi

I've been trying to get a game of KO2 set up online but can't seem to find a server that runs the game at a speed that's playable!

Can anyone recommend a server or a particular time when the ping rates are better please? I'm assuming that the lower the "ms" figure the better for speed?

Any tips appreciated!

For better ping you need a better internet connection, that's it.

A Kaillera server close to your homeplace should help also to have better pings.

Try also hosting a Kaillera server on your PC.

BTW Kick Off 2 needs extremely low pings to be played with full speed (about 20 to 40ms).

You can speedup a little the game setting the video refresh on "every second frame" and setting the connection speed on 30 keyframes/sec.

How do you host a server on your own PC? Im trying to play this online also but its too slow!

you should find the file kaillerasrv on the zip.
Extract the zip and run kaillerasrv.exe :wink:

and after ?

a dos windows open with connection to server > Ok > than ... ?

i launch kaillera, but didnt find where i can create than a server by myself

(and sorry if this had already been explained 1000 times... peace on noobs :wink:

that's all! Once runned the server is ready to host a game, You should receive a confirmation on every ping on window
