I am trying to get that CAPS thing working so I installed the CAPS download to the folder WinUAE is placed, but when I am trying to run it won't work. The screen goes from white to grey and to black, then it turns white again and this repeats itself again and again.
Anybody knows why it won't work?
CAPS?

Just make sure you have the latest winUAE version and read this:

This is a guide written specifically to help people run CAPS images of Kick Off games in winUAE.

Good point.. but I mean, what exactly are you looking for? What do you want to do with WinUAE?
The two most important sections are:
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
----------------------------------
In order to play Kick Off 2 in your PC, you'll need the following files:
The WinUAE emulator
http://www.winuae.net/files/WinUAE0822R9.zip
The Amiga 500 kickstart file
http://www.alkis.org/KICK13.zip
The 'CAPS' Kick Off 2 1.4e image
http://www.badger-soft.com/koa/caps/KickOff2_1_4.zip
The 'CAPS' User Library
http://www.caps-project.org/files/CAPSU ... ry_W32.zip
The Kick Off 2 Oracle version image (optional)
http://www.ko-gathering.com/downloads/adf/KickOff2.zip
The 'Steroids' disk (optional)
http://www.alkis.org/External/steroids.zip
The 'Goal Tutorial' disk (optional)
http://www.alkis.org/External/tutorial.zip
The 'Tactics' disk (optional)
http://www.alkis.org/External/Tactics.zip
It is highly recommended that you download all of the above files.
WinUAE is the software that emulates a virtual Amiga on your PC.
The kickstart file is essential for WinUAE to work.
Kick Off 2 1.4e and Oracle are two different versions of Kick Off 2. Both are used in tournaments.
The CAPS user library is needed in order that the 1.4e version works.
The Steroids disk is a team with all the players attributes set to 270 points, very useful if you want a better Amiga opponent (made by Vasilis Kafiris)
The Goal Tutorial is a set of goal replays for KO2 apprentices (made by Alkis Polyrakis)
The Tactics disk is a set of tactics (made by Robert Swift)
----------------------------------
SETTING UP THE EMULATOR:
----------------------------------
To begin, unzip WinUAE0822R9.zip and install WinUAE in a folder of your preference.
Unzip and copy CAPSUserLibrary_W32.zip in the WinUAE directory, KICK13.zip in the Roms directory and all the other files in the Disks directory.
Launch WinUAE. You will need to set the following options:
RAM TAB: Chip: 512K
ROM TAB: In the ROM file box, insert the address of the KICK13.rom file you put in your Roms directory
CPU TAB: CPU Type: 68000 CPU Emulation Speed: Match A500 Speed
DISPLAY TAB: Select: 800x600, 32-bit 100Hz Check: VSync, Centering Horizontal & Vertical, Full Screen, Line mode Doubled
GAME AND I/O PORTS: Your joystick (assuming you have one) should be in Amiga Mouse Port 1 (PC Joystick 0). If you have two joysticks and want to play a 2 players game, the second player will control the joystick in Amiga Mouse Port 0.
INPUT TAB: Configure your joystick(s)
MISC TAB: Check Show LEDs
CHIPSET TAB: Chipset type: Full ECS Collision Level: Sprites Only
SOUND TAB: Sound Emulation: Enabled, 100% accurate Frequency: 44100Hz Stero Mode: Stereo
FLOPPIES TAB: In the DF0: box, insert one of the Kick Off 2 disks found in your Disks directory (either 1.4e or Oracle). Then click on Create "Standard" Floppy and save the file in the Disks directory. This is the "disk" you're going to save tournaments or replays on. Name it Empty.adf
CONFIGURATIONS TAB: This is the last step. When you have completed all of the above, save your configuration. Name: KO2 Description: Kick Off 2 Configuration. Click on Save (NOT on OK!).
You are now ready to load Kick Off 2.
----------------------------------
NOTE THAT THESE SETTINGS WILL WORK FINE WITH PLAYER MANAGER AS WELL.
