We are gathering at the company of the Kakaletris bros for a Kick Off 2 tournament. This Kaka-Con will be a test event for the Greek Champs that we intend to hold later in 2025, hopefully with some international guests.

An Athens tournament with 10 or more people! We haven't had one of those since 2016. And it happened thanks to our hosts George and Kostas Kakaletris who graciously offered their company CITE's premises. This was the first Greek tournament to be played on two different floors - God knows we needed the exercise. The players who had recent practice thanks to the Nottingham World Cup were off to a better start, while Nikos and Spyros needed some time to get their form. As you can see in the pictures, we also decided to cut a cake as per the Greek custom of Vasilopita (Santa Claus' cake), generously provided by Panayotis' mother. It's a New Year’s cake with a hidden coin inside, and whoever finds it is expected to have a lucky year. In our case, it was Spyros.

Bring on the Greek Champs! We will announce the exact date soon.
