Gabriele G isn't new here though, he registered on the forum as Gabry1980 some year ago but surely this would be his first kick off 2 tournament!

This Italian championship is getting out of hand!
At first I'm glad to add Frank and Cornelius!
With the Jorn's attendance it was an international tournament already! With Frank and Cornelius, it will be even more international!! BTW thank you very much Jorn to spread the voice in Frankfurt! that's a very welcome surprise!
Also thanks to Christopher for the interest.
Another news that makes statistic: beside to have 2 newbie (in covid times this is just awesome) there is also a great come back after more than 10 years away from official tournament: Maurizio L is joining too!!!
I have to see him in flesh and bones to believe it, but I'm confident he will not disappoint us.

That is a very impressive list of players! It is an extremely happy event for all KOA that after all that has happened there is another KO2 tournament about to start. I am sure you will have the best of times, and that it will be very special to be hearing again the lovely tournament room KO2 sounds.

We are all with you, sharing that marvellous real KO2 feeling, in the hope that in 2022 there will be a big come back for us all.

Congratulations to Fabio for winning, in superior fashion. The first one to win an Italian Championship, other than Gianni. His level is almost perverse. Clinical.

Lorenso Rambo impressed us all with his 2. place, and Luca eased in to third.

This left Gianni even out of the Top 3!!! He landed the fourth though.

I am currently on a bench in downtown Milano, writing this, enjoying the feeling of finally being able to meet up with friends in the KOA-family.
That Gianni and his fantastic family opens up their home to let me stay with them fills me with gratitude.

Alessandro needs to be mentioned and thanked as well. He hosted the I.C.21 at his offices, spending countless hours together with Gianni setting it up for all of us.

And I also need to send my appreciation to Frank and Cornelius for signing up on really short notice. I sendt a text to Frank, just for fun, telling him that I would be travelling by his local airport (Frankfurt), and that I would like to see him sign up. His answer? Yes, I will attend. Fantastic!!!
It's hard to describe with words the feeling Gianni and I had when we met up with Frank and his lovely wife Petra at Friday night... It felt like World Cup Friday!!!

Thank you Gianni and Alessandro, thank you to your families, thank you all who showed up, the Italians who came by car, train, bus, from far away from Milano, to attend, thank you Frank, Petra and Cornelius.
