hogstrom wrote:About the autoslides, Gianni and others (i think i have asked this before, but i cant recall) can you push your opponent to a position where risk for autoslide to occure increases?
I'm probably not the one to ask! I do vaguely remember Gianni suggesting he may have this devilish skill! Maybe we'll find out soon...
Yes, it is important to know, because if he can do that i would defenitely like to see these autoslides it removed!
Kinda sums up much of this thread..... but leaves a smile on the face!

25 of 47 confirmed players voted about the slidefixes :
Option A : 1 vote
Option B : 12 votes
Option C : 10 votes
2 Players, including myself, had no preferences.
So it's option B, no one can use any of the slidefixes !
I hope everybody can live with this decision, even if it was a very close voting, with only 53 % of the players participating.
Although I'm slightly sadenned we went for the 'zero choice' option it was not unexpected. Thanks to Cornelius and co for allowing a vote. I'm sure this must have been a tricky time for you guys.
At the same time I'm also glad this vote is over! Let's put this baby to bed now, and get on with getting on. I'm sure we can all have a lot of fun next weekend!

About slides: Today i was told that 43 cars did slide in Kronobergs län, wich is far south from Ostersund. Horrible, this mean we MUST change to wintertyres before we leave. Sadly, because we can expect a heavy fine (germans, please correct me if wrong!) we must change back to normal tyres before we enter Germany - and then back to the winter ones again when back to Sweden on Monday
Camber, any possibility to remove slides (auto and unintended) from the roads down south?
By car, Kickoff2-record traveller! Ostersund/Dusseldorf +3,750 km during +55 hours Wcups: 2005 (29:th), 2006 (15:th), 2007 (6:th), 2008 (6:th), --, 2010 (12:th), --, --, --, 2014 (5:th), 2015 (12:th)...

If you by 'winter tyres' mean 'studded tires' (piggdekk), then yes, those are not allowed in Germany. If we're talking about non-studded winter tyres (piggfrie vinterdekk), then there's no problem.
Thanks for the info, Knut. Of cource, standard unluck, it´s about pigged tyres. I changed them last year when i were unhappy about how badly these worked out on icey roads.

The hotel in Düsseldorf is in an environment zone, you need a "Feinstaubplakette" to enter. Not easy with german bureaucracy! Try my best at the moment that you can fax your car papers to the "TÜV" and i get the plaque. Otherwise you must do a stop near Hamburg at your own at TÜV,DEKRA, or ATU.
