If you are new in this forum and wondering what on earth people are doing still playing Kick Off 2, and how you may join the fun, this thread may contain just the info you are looking for.

First of all, online Kick Off 2 is a great way to get started again with Kick Off 2 if you haven't played for many years. You don't have to find your old Amiga in the basement, and you have humans to play against only an internet away. Playing against the computer or playing Player Manager can be a lot of fun, but Kick Off 2 really shines as a two-player game.

Who are we? Well, we are not that many online players yet. The Kick Off Association has mainly been a forum for people to arrange off-line meetings where real Amigas are used, and we have a lot of people who play off-line, but not online. However, we are also a few online Kick Off 2 afficionados who are working hard to improve this situation. By joining in now, you can thus also enjoy the fun of taking part in building up a thriving online community.

What to do? The most important thing I would like to ask you to do is SPEAK UP! We can't very well get to arrange some games if we don't know about each other and our intention to play some online Kick Off 2. So post in this thread, or make a new thread and introduce yourself. Or if you go into the chatroom (http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=kickoff ), say hello and stay in the chatroom long enough for people to reply to you (nobody watches the chat 24/7). Whatever you do, please don't be shy, but speak up! It's the only way we have to get in touch with each other and arrange games or tournaments or whatever.
