Active Soccer: be ready for the revolution!
Following the great worldwide success of Throw In, the king of Arcade Soccer is back!!!

Active Soccer is a fresh retro-styled arcade football game heavily inspired by the classic 16-bit masterpieces like Kick Off 2, Sensible Soccer and Microprose Soccer.
Active Soccer re-creates the classic gameplay in a modern context.

Happy birthday champ. A great present to yourself! :P

I have a couple of questions. Will Active Soccer be multiplayer only, or is there also an AI for those of us who prefer to play offline? Also, you mention a world cup in the features. Does this mean that the game consists of International Teams? Can you create your own custom teams and competitions?

Active Soccer can be played against CPU or online. There is also available a world cup with International Teams.
You cannot create custom teams or competitions now, we didn't want to delay the game release so we had preferred to focus on online experience.
Let's consider this as Sensible Soccer.....but then SWOS came out few years later :-)

Hi there! last week I was in Rome too and I had the luck to try the game.
I was surprised about how well the gameplay has been designed by Gianluca. Surely it isn't easy to master the ball and to build good actions, but after few games I was able to score very nice goals with a Kick Off approach.
Of course the "call" to Kick off is very high, but I think that Gianluca even walked on the the Sensible Soccer field, taking the best also from there: the headers is a very weak point of Kick Off 2, the only very good think of Sensible Soccer was the very realistic header shot. Well, Active Soccer has got a very good header system, useful to get a goal kick, to clear the box and of course to score very nice goals.
The game needs still some tweak to calibrate the IA skill level (very hard for the most) but it is fully enjoyable as is it already.
My best compliments. as Kick off player I can say that I like it really much and I will buy it for my iPhone, but I'm even more curious to see it on my PC monitor, using my Slick Stick!
