I'm finishing the v1.3 update for iOS, here are the updates:

- New GFX engine: better gfx, better performance (even on iPod touch 4th gen and iPhone 4)
- You can now suspend, open other apps and then resume the game while playing
- New online mode match: it is easier to find an opponent since you are always "online" and you can play matches as soon as an opponent logs in.
- New menu system: more user friendly menus
- New team selection system: touch based team selection (more user friendly)
- You can now save /watch replays
- Improved game play
- Extra time and penalties on friendly match
- Bug fixing
- Localizations: supported different languages

Thx for the update info!

My biggest issues - apart from the controls and the platform (I hate playing on Iphone) is that I can't tell the teams apart in the game - the players are too small for my poor old eyesight - also I'm red/green impaired, which makes it even harder. If the graphics could somehow be made more clearer it would definitely help. - or.. I should just get new glasses! ;)

How you tried to go to settings-general-accessibility-negative colors of iOS menu? You can also try the near camera on in game options. I also suggest iCade that is a cool device

Cheers. Just tried the near camera - much better! (also helped that I chose Italy v Sweden).. But it seems to me that the game runs a lot slower with this camera setting (I'm on an Iphone3).

ICade looks like a cool device, but not one I plan on getting - and also not something I'll bring with me on the train or bus! ;)

I don't want to release bugs or flaws in this version. This is why is taking few days more than expect. But i guess it's bet waiting few days more and having a better online experience.

I've been a bit busy lately, but now I had time to catch up with reading the Active Soccer topics.
THFC did come on a bit strong and I disagree with the statements about Gianluca being unprofessional or AS being an unfinished product.
But it is good that someone is trying to open a discussion to help the game get even better. I think Gianluca is very aware that the game needs more features, game modes and an improvement online mode. Version 1.3 should polish some of the rough edges and hopefully the community will become more lively.
We can all contribute to the success of the game by discussing, advertising and sharing experiences, tips and bug reports.
