outbox staying populated

My outbox has 3 pms that I attempted to send today. I believe they were sent but the sent box doesn't show them there.

Outbox = waiting to be sent right ?

Any ideas why are they stuck in there ?

Yes. They move to sent when they are read by the reciever.
