As we're into it with mod'ing and such...

I know there are people who are still moderators on the forums who close to never visits the forums. Shouldn't this change? I, for one, visit the forums several times a day, I never pick on anyone (apart from Wanko), and I've been adressed to the KO2002-forums... Thowra, Jimbo and probably others who never visit the forums (from what I can see) are still moderators. Why?

If we remove James Beard as a moderator he will come back and complain!!!

My suggestion re: Thowra and Jamed is to drop them both an email asking whether they wish to continue being a moderator considering that they don't post on the site. If they say 'no need' or don't reply then re-tablise Freshmaker instead ffs.

I agree with the suggestion and since we are talking about two position openings, I propose Rodolfo for the other one if he wants the job.

I would accept if there is a vacancy and I am offered. I am admin of my small football bets forum, and have some idea of how things should work. However, to be honest, I almost only read The Bench, so perhaps someone with a broader forums view would be a better option.

James' last visit was July 2009. Claire's was this February, before that I don't know.

There is a courtesy involved in asking. There is a discourtesy involved in not asking.

Nikos didn't read the forum or post for about 2 years. We just waited patiently for him to come back. Because he is Nikos. James is James and Claire is Claire. And these are still some of the top posters, we are talking about. I'd actually prefer them to come back to the forum.

Let's just ask.
