Can we make a deutsche Meisterschaft this year?
If we get 8 people together, my suggestion:

Date: the weekend around Tag der deutschen Einheit ( 1-3 Oktober)
Place: Langenfeld/RHLD my house( on three floors: one to eat, sleep and play)

I would love to see the return of the German Champs this year. May I ask if any of you gentlemen consider attending the world cup?

For me it will be the last free weekend this year.( so i can host only tomorrow or any day(s)next friday- monday)

After that i have only time on sunday. So if another one host it, i will come around for a nice afternoon, but i think for a whole tournament it will be to short.

Otherwise i count 4 people who have interest till now. A litle bit less for a german champs.(but enough for Cornelius

Unfortunately, not too many people care to visit these forums lately, so I guess a more active approach to attracting players will be needed.

Me and Cornelius are actively planning the trip to the WC this year!
Time frame will be something like Thursday till Monday.
Haven‘t looked for suitable and payable flights yet.
Any quick tipps for sightseeing in 1 and a half days and within taxi/subway reach?

Hi Frank, I hope you and Cornelius make it to Athens, it would great to see you! I have never been to Athens before - but the Stanley Hotel where we are playing Kick Off 2 is only 2km north of the Parthenon, and lots more...

After enjoying the World Cup in Bremen I will keep a lookout for a German championships, the train from Preston to Langenfeld via London, Brussels, and Köln takes 8 hours 14 minutes.
