Similar thing happened back in my real football playing days. We were playing a pre-season friendly with extreme winds and our goalie kicked a goal kick that reached the end of the penalty box, then boomeranged back and he made a great diving save for a corner!

In the same game I hit the post with a shot from halfway inside my own half.

I also remember messing around with wind and plastic pitch and scoring with the goal keeper in KO2.
