Great news!
Graphics look very similar to Football Manager?
(A Player Manager game with Active Soccer gameplay and slimmed down FM would be great)
Will wishlist for sure

Re: Final Whistle
I always thought Return to Europe was the best version- at least on the Atari ST.
Slightly easier to score, from memory, particularly with players with high shooting attributes who could hit powerful shots that went through the keeper

Re: Active Soccer 2 - PC version
Really good game Gianluca, been enjoying it so much more on a PC rather than a tablet with the first Active Soccer.
I started a game with my local team Barnet and tried first with a joypad to take advantage of the 360º movement, but I was shit  struggling in the relegation zone, I think I ...

Re: Player Manager Remake in the making - Yes, really!
What version have you got?
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Now version 0.5!
Readme file is useful: I thought the ball control seemed too easy.
I guess it's an option for the future to turn it off rather than now?
Never understood why you guys used PBD in tournaments, always put me off ...

Re: Player Manager Remake in the making - Yes, really!
Was talking about the opposition keepers more than mine- played three matches (PIP, not as a team) and the scores were 6-2, 3-3 and 6-5
Where are these instructions you speak of? (have used goggle translate for the Italian readme file, but can't see any other docs...)

This is pretty good!
Though the keepers are pretty poor, almost every shot on target goes in. Maybe they'll improve above Div 3

Re: Active Soccer 2 - Screenshots
Looks terrific- to have the Kick Off 2/Throw In gameplay with Player Manager/SWOS management has been the dream for 20+ years
Is it possible to control just one player a la Player Manager?

Glad there's going to be a PC version too, I bought the first one to play on the missus' iPad, but it just wasn't the same without a joystick...

Re: The 2010 FIFA World Cup thread
Fuck, the Germans next!
looking at the positives, at least they'll some classic clashes coming up (Germany vs probably Argentina in the quarters), and there's a chance for an african side to get to the semis in the weaker half of the draw...

Re: The Novel Thread
Logged on today to warn anyone who was thinking of buying an on-line Sky subscription, not to, because they are fucking useless (tried to legally watch the Spurs-Man City game, but could not as their shite software continually registers phantom computers until I was told I had too many devices ...

Re: Rant: The Irish, TV, and British football teams
Good point about the Irish all supporting British teams, but the Champions League group stages are pish anyway (and I support one of the teams in it)
