Player Manager for GBA?

Postby gillis » Sun Jul 27, 2003 8:01 am

What about a Gameboy Advance version of PM?
Easy money for Steeve and Dino, and joy for us.

What do you guys think of that?

Dino is actually trying to find opportunities out of the computer game industry, Steve is actually working on KO2004 and UPM. I think it would be great and would cost us a lot of money in batteries!

BUT, bear in mind that GamePark32 (GP32), the other NG handheld console is miles better than GBA, has a 100% ST emulator and you can run Player Manager there. It will be available in the european market this autumn, and I will buy it simply because of the emulators that it can run.

A basic Amiga emulator is very likely to be developed for it, and the Amiga PM will be also available in handheld form... :)

PM ADVANCE

Actually, what I was dreaming of wasn't an emulate version of PM but a brand new one with better management, more options and some graphics improvements too. With a title like "PLAYER MANAGER ADVANCE EX" :)

Total soccer manager 2002? No way.

Sorry bu I think Total soccer Manager 2002 sucks big time. The AI is really poor and the management is a joke...

I get your point, but PM still remains a hell of a game even 13 years after its original release. In case of no alternative, GP32's emulation abilities can be lovely. In matter of fact, I don't know if graphics can be improved when we speak about a wee screen!

Fair enough, but it's better than nothing. I think KO2 / PM would be pretty hopeless given the control method available on a GBA/SP.
