My name is Vasilis Kafiris. I'm Greek and I'm an active member of the KOA-Gathering and a great fan of your work!
My best game ever is Player Manager and believe me I have spent innumerous hours playing the game since 1990.
When Kick Off 2 was released, I dreamt of a compination of KO2 and PM, which was never came true.
There are many PM fans that would like to play the SUPER games PM+KO2 in one version combining these two.
Now you might ask how are you involved with it. Well I know that it's absolutely impossible for you to go through such a plan because you're busy with other tasks.
All I'm asking from you is to supply me with the source codes of both PM and KO2 so that I can do it myself, for no commercial reasons, just distribution to the KOA members. I'll be very happy if you reply to this, wheather you are affirmative or not. Thank you for your patience to read this email since this line.

Anyway now Dino knows that there're people who want to improve and modify his games. And this is correct, because he owns the codes of this games.
Any little help more is good for our comunity!
Don't forget that Dino talk about the possibility to start an open source project of Kick Off months ago...

I just found out it's possible to change an original name in a longer name by copying the point that separates the names somewhere to the right (using the "fill selection with" function).
After I found out I changed the Holland striker M.Thomas into M.Oterdoom <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
Now who wouldn't want that? <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

Using the Code-Genie program it's possible to change f. i. the following names:
"Barnes.Barrett.Bell.Bennett.Berry" into:
"Barnes.Barrett.Bells.Bennet.Berry"
It works like this:
-Go to line 014200 in the Kickoff.adf file and select the "B" from Bennett
(you can select one or more characters using the mouse or shift+arrowkeys)
-From the CodeGenie menu choose: Edit, Fill Selection with.. 00 and hit OK.
Now the "B" is replaced by "."
Now you can change ".Bell..ennett." into ".Bells.Bennet."
Note that the total size of the line doesn't change.
Be careful though changing small names in large names because each character
you add to one name has to be removed from another name...
