koa:.:net - KO2 - Final Whistle

Postby durban » Tue May 20, 2003 10:15 am

Just trying to drum up support for our league :)

Did you know you can play Final Whistle online, not just KO2.

And the games will count towards the league if both players agree.

(Well until I set up multiple format leagues that is!)

Come on and suport the KOA webleague dammit!!!

I've got my FW .adf files all set-up in my Kaillera files just raring to go.

I might be around at 11pm tonight Durbs if you fancy trying a 50%er again? I'll see you on #koanet if you are

I've also tried using the Giants of Europe .adf that is on fillipo's website but it just seems to crash the game??? which is a shame

BEaring in mind I am trying my best to promote Kailerra KO2, you would think I would have it set up on my pc :)

I tried to find it last night but I must have accidentaly removed it or something...

Set it up and got the servers running but the game was crashing when I started (however I was on my own so maybe it needs 2!)

Deffo be on around 11pm tonight my good friend!

Also earlier if you are up for it as the Wife gets a bath around 8 for about 20 hrs!!

Yes Pee I would love to make it another time....

however I cannot get my UAE KAillera to work...

I have tried all sorts of builds, and different rom and ko2 files however I cannot even start an offline game...

It keeps failing on (I think looking at the dump) UXTHEME.DLL

Now I know this is the Winxp Theme library but why it would be failing on this I don't know, I may try and patch the DLL however I don't really want to screw up xp just for UAE!
It worked back in December and nowt has changed since then that I know of unless the bird has installed something that has messed up some files!

Hmmm can someone try this?

It used to work for both me and Pee...

Basically if I go into UAEKAILERRA and then instead of starting Kailerra I just click on OK (after setting up the roms etc) then the Amiga window opens as a black screen for a few secs, then I get the.....

Error Report, do you wish to send!!!

Can someone tell me if you can play offline on Kail UAE?

Pee can you check it out mate, it seems weird how we both used to be able to use it and now we can't (well you have a new pc so that could be a reason for you I guess!!!)

Fillipo where are you :)

Not tried to run WinUAE on XP but you should be able to disable the themes if you go to compatibily mode.

My WinUAE works fine. I get the same error as Durbs when trying to run Kaillera but I must admit I don't ever remember trying to run a one player offline game through Kaillera on my old PC so I don't know. I guess Fillipo is the man to answer this :)
