KOA:.:Net League is here!

Postby durban » Fri May 16, 2003 9:23 pm

YipeeKaiyaaay Mother F***ers!!!

The KOA Net league page is here at last.

Sign up now and get playing KO Online.

At the moment the rules are basic, you play another player online, the winner posts the result.

Basically its only wins or losses, no draws yet and no goal difference etc.

But that will come in time when I get round to amending it.

Please sign up its free!

Some of you I may make moderators.

anyway to get there....

http://www.koanet.co.uk

Then click on the league link on the info bars!

Also lets start thinking of rules etc etc and of course feedback and ideas appreciated.

Big thanks to DannyD for hooking me up with the PHP source as usual :)

Cheers,

Mark

This is so Great!!!
And what we need to boost the koa:.net!!
So simple correction: the logo of koanet is:

koa:.:net

it just looks better than

KOA:.:Net

For the rule, the most simple is: Team A choose all the settings with the only limit of 5x2 minutes.
This because the stick on port2 is the only to have the possibility to choose the settings.
All the other settings like 50% speed or national teams or 1st division teams could be allowed.
Can you put in the general menu the link "downoload"?
Maybe we can add this page where the visitors can download: winuae kaillera, kick off final whistle, kick off 1.6, kick off return to europe.
All that versions could be allowed in the rankings, with 100% and 50% of speed.
Also we can add a link to the "kick off on-line" forum in the KO gathering, where people can meet each other and set the friendlies.
Anyway now we can start to play!!!

I've foud very useful the irc java client used with the Goal tournament, try it:

http://www.whatnet.org/chat.php?channel=koanet

I think it's best way to get in touch with player ready for a game!
Also you can connect with another irc client at the address:

Server: London.UK.WhatNET.Org
Channel: #koanet

seems it works well!
Just need for more player joined!

Danne, when you say whoever organised this I presume you mean koanet?

Well in fairness it was the Italians Fillipo and Fartuso, the Webleague tho is my page etc, or rather I set it up for the KOA, obviously in reality its our page.

At the moment the PHP is taken from elsewhere but I am currently redoing it to make it more useful to us, like adding draws and results and stuff.

Fillipo I will take all your good ideas on board.

I am going to post another topic just for ideas where we can all post ideas on their own to discuss.

Cheers for the positive feedback fellas, give me a couple of days and the webleague will be rockin :)
Saying that it works now tho albeit not as well as it will be when I am finished :)

WTF.

"Official slowest connection"

I've got a new PC now so it may have been that as the pings I was getting were better than yours if I remember correctly.

Anyways, I'm all signed up and ready to get re-set up with mIRC and Kaliera. BBand would be ace though

Pee mate I may be able to have a few matches tonight if you like.

I am still busy trying to get the league set up properly (it works at the mo but I want better stats and stuff so am rehashing the lot as we speak!)

So if you can get your stuff set up for tonight give me a shout.

I will check on here...

I need to set up some sort of page on the site to allow players to say they will be online and stuff.

Already got 7 signed up for this...woooo!!!

Pee, I could do with you sorting all that emulator shite out on my PC next time. I'm well up for this in general when I get BB in the near future but for now, us three aint too far away from each other and could maybe sort it with a decent server and 56K?
