Emulator problems

I have winamu, the amiga emulator but I have a problem. I can't use the save option when I play PM...when I try to save and view the screen "insert a formated disk", it doesn't work. Have you got the same problem?

Well, have you inserted a formatted disk? (a formatted disk image)

I did insert a formated disk but it didn't work...I also tried to make an empty .adf file (pretending a formated disk) but it didn't work either. Maybe the emulator is not made to save games...

Hmm, I heard of some other games which had trouble saving a game in WinUAE, somehow it seems save-games aren't very well supported in WinUAE.

I'll just wait for a version supporting saving games...that would never happen if my amiga disk drive worked properly...grrr!

Well why don`t you use the save state option in the latest Winuae ?

Save state option? I have the latest version of winuae but I don't know where this option is or how to use it! A tip here could help me out Darren!

Sorry I should of mentioned about Steem as i'm a Beta Tester !!! <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> Hmm, interesting about the SAVE States in the new WinUAE, that is a great feature for Emulators (especially Steem).

I finally managed to save a PM season, by inserting an empty adf in df0.
There are many games though that refuse to save, like Pirates! (do you people remember that one?).

By the way, I managed to save a PM session by just creating a blank Aamiga disk with WinUAE.
