Hi Guys - congrats on the great site.

On a long trip back from Canada I suddenly got the inkling to find the Player manager - the game that nursed me through my childhood years.

No game ever caught my imagination as much as this one. Groups of 10 or more used to gather at my house to load in our PM teams and compete in kick-off 2 championships for our hard earned pocket-money...

Anyway, I have tried everything that I can think of to get past the save game screen (just after the environment is created) but just cant do it. I have formatted disks on Winuae using both options, loaded the adf file to my PC (Windows XP) from both the hard disk and floppy, but it just wont work

Please, please help me. I have read through all the posts on the site but just cant work it out.

My e-mail address is a_c_bishop@hotmail.com should a more detailed explanation be required.

Thanks in advance,
Al

Try Winfellow instead, PM does not work correctly on WinUAE.

Finally figured it out.

I guess I was missing the format disk in workbench (my bad).

Looking forward to play Alex Reeves past pensionable age again

As a second post, is there any decent old style joysticks out there as the new ones seem more suited for flying fighter planes than PM.

Most of us use the Greek sticks mate. They don't ship abroad, but if you like it I can help.
