I'm playing a friend RON in a 50% speed game which lasts one hour.Then I will play him in a 2x5 at 100% speed.

Well the result of MJB vs JamesHBeard in the best of 10 Monday night extravaganza(time a bit short for best of 20) all come down to the last game. If Jimmer won he made it all square, otherwise I won. It was a draw so I was victorious with 4W, 3D and 3L. I scored 22 goals and he scored.....21 goals. Highest scoring game was JHB 5 vs 3 MJB. He scored 2 lobs in that one.
Swiftly getting closer to the tourny....

Mark I let Martin win the session last night cause he was getting disheartened.

After winning 3 games in succesion, rather convincingly I could see he was getting upset so I surrendered the rest of the games.

When James Lockerbie gets going, he'll be scoring the same goal over and over again. Luckily you all have to play him only once. The other day we played ten games, and he won seven. I made a Player Manager tactic to stop this goal but unfortunately 4-2-4 doesn't stop it. 5-3-2 is a bit more effective but useless for attacking. A truly maddening experience. I hope the threat of JL can be stopped, otherwise he's going all the way.
