I think that no 9 and 10 are the most important players in the 4-2-4 line-up. Why i think that way? BECAUSE THEY SCORE 90% OF ALL THE GOALS!

Goals from the no 11 or 7 are very rare, but Gunther is right, the no 7 scores more then the no 11. That's just KO.

Depends the way you play, when i play 4-2-4 my front two obviosly score the most but my wingers certainly score their fair share and i experience the same kind of scoring rates in UKO except my no 8 scores occaisionaly as well now.;

Most goals are made by my number 9 and 10 of course, but my number 7 and 4 also contribute to the scoreline.
The Kickoffers in Angeren found it out the hard way <IMG SRC="/koboard/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
My number 11 and 8 are usually not found on the scoresheet.

Hey guys i am back <IMG SRC="/koboard/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
I must say i usually conceed goals with my brothers number 7 (Shaw <IMG SRC="/koboard/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> ) and 9..
Altough i score goals with my number 4 (kemp) and 10 i think it depends on the user :
Whose good at attacking with whom and defencing with whom. There is not much certanity....;

It appears that just about everyone plays
4-2-4 - is there anybody out there that plays with a different system and what are the key tactics ?

Some of the noises from the UKO development also seem to favour 4-2-4. Surely some systems should play better against different formations ?

Any views ?;

The only reason 4-2-4 is mentioned so much as regards UKO is because it is the formation that has been tweaked and adjusted the most, in developing the game it was easier for me to work with one tactic rather than spread the knowledge i was gaining across all 6 standard tactics, now the other tactics are slowly coming online that situation should change, i quite fancy playing a 3-4-3 myself if i can design one thats good enough. The 4-2-4 in UKO is more a 1-3-4-2 anyway as it has a sweeping centreback and the wingers do hold back a little but push on late.;

It`s amazing how much of a difference it makes when you move just one player in the ( what seems to be too basic ) tactics designer.. I started byt changing the drastically and wow!! players where everywhere they shouldn`t be!! so I changed them one at a time to see what differences they make...thats the best idea I think..;
