U have to live in a really small country like GrB to consider a two hour trip to be defined as a travel ;-)

I prefer Nottingham though cause they had a great team when I grew up and that the name is possible to express!

Jappz wants to come!

Please don't let it happen in Nottingham...

Ok so following the fire in Nottingham Rail Station today (which Andy G was seen running away from) we have discussed this on the phone today and decided that we will be hosting in Bournemouth. Maybe when Nottingham has rebuilt the station and got back to the Premier League (so 2019) we can host here.

I was in Bournemouth 4 months ago and it's an excellent venue with great facilities for holding conferences and many many hotels ranging from luxury to very cheap. I think that off season we can get a great venue and then there's all the joy of nice pubs, restaurants, a casino and of course the seaside all within a tight area together.

It's like the English Barcelona really.

We look forward to posting you an update soon on the Bournemouth plans - Andy is currently scouting a short list of four venues based on a briefing by myself.

Maybe you would prefer Nottingham - we have a team manager who is ex-Madrid...

The near airports are Bournemouth and Southampton. However if no flight there, it will be for most people London Heathrow.

From Heathrow (Terminal 5), there is a National Express bus 205. This takes 1hr50m to Bournemouth, cost £12.

We do not think this is excessive... in the last 2 years I took:

60 minute coach from Bergamo + 20 minute metro + walk to Milan KOA hotel.
1hr45m trains from Copenhagen to Landskrona (change at Malmo).

Heathrow Airport offers the best choice of destinations, airlines, times, prices (in the world). The downside is this slightly long bus trip. But it's just one bus, very cheap, no changes or confusion.

Looking at Nottingham, East Midlands airport does offer more destinations than Bournemouth (i.e. there is a flight to Milan) however there would still be many people flying to Luton (Greeks and Scandinavians) or Birmingham with a bus or train trip up to 2 hours after it.

We can minimise travel time by hosting in London, if you're happy with a tournament fee of £60 per person, accommodation £100 per night and drinks £4 each. But this is too much for us and we don't have anyone living in London now anyway.

The best solution is tolerate a 1hr50m bus trip for nice cheap destination by the sea with everything close...

Lorenzo I will see you in the 22/23 place final....
