Well, I'll be one to object to 2015 but I will talk properly about it in a different thread.

Gianni, could you discuss this please. A bit unfair to let it hang out there and not detail the issue.
Thanks.

Let's give it a rest now.

Danny, don't misunderstand, I totally see why you would like to have a follow-up here; you've just hosted the world cup!
And I would also be curious to see what's behind this comment.

However, it's Christmas-time, we're all stressing around with our preparations. Give this a few days, and I think you'll have your answer.

And if you still haven't, may I suggest sending Gianni a pm or a mail.

I understand your curiosity Danny. And I'm sure Gianni will elaborate this. But bear in mind that it is Christmas and that Gianni might have other obligations with hinders him from answering your question promptly.

He made the comment in public and therefore I expect him to make his statement in public.

I will however following FreshMakers suggestion give it a break and look forward to a response in the early new year.

I remember Gianni wasn't happy about the time pressure on Sunday and that some elimination matches were 1 round only. Perhaps that's the only issue.

Oh, sure, don't misunderstand, I'd expect the statement in public as well.

I was thinking it would be a better approach pm him to ask for his follow-up, rather then doing it in public.

Hope that makes sense.

If it's just the time issue, then that's a common problem. Perfection in that area is hard to achieve.

My apologies, I wasn't aware there was such expectation about this, these days I was barely able to check the mobile for incoming call, between lunches , brunches, dinners. Christmas is celebrated very much in Italy. Hopefully tomorrow I should be able to put hands on a proper keyboard

Well, of course that restricted time wasn't very welcome but we were aware about that, so no problem at all. it is just a thing we have to bear in mind in future world cup. In future selection of world cup venue, we must definitely avoid a venue in which there is an early time restriction, above all on day two, in which we never know what can happen. just figure out a blackout of 3 hours in the Dublin venue this year. not a so remote possibility, above all in a venue where water and electricity were so near. in that case we would have had to cancel the world cup.
Instead without time restriction we could have had recover the matches after the blackout.

My point wasn't related to a logistic problem though, but thanks Pedro to point it out.
