quick question, in tournaments, do you have the 'keeper stays on pitch' option on? so he doesn't bug out?

In the Competition Version, there is an option to make sure the goalie never runs behind the back-line (as he often does), so you can't score the Mr. Dig-goal.

If I'm not mistaken Pbd is freedom of choice, Removal of Autoslides is activated, Trapfix is off. By default.

If you go back to page 1 of this thread, you'll find it all described.

oh... i'm confused to hell now

so an added option is optional that helps exploit a bug that's been fixed but isn't switched on?

Not meaning to sound funny here btw, am just finding it confusing as it appears to favour the top players or am i getting this all wrong in my head?

Yes. I find it similarly confusing. Especially considering the "wars" we've had on the forums about the Trapfix, I find it most ridiculous that all wanted to keep the "goalie behind the goal" bug in. It looks ridiculous, and it gives no meaning, yet it stays in. Luckily though, the majority has voted, again and again, to stay off the Trapfix. But yes, the "goalie"bug has never been properly discussed as far as I'm concerned.

At the same time; it's important to remember that all these bugs are a part of Kick Off 2, and if we remove them all it would be hard to prepare for a WC using your original KO2-disc, something I find to be of the upmost importance.

Yes, messing with anything that affects the ball going into the net would be a step too far.
Unfortunately those wanting the trap bug kept in are more vocal but I expect less numerous.
Fortunately Lee, you live in a slide-free country where nobody will force you to put up with it in championships.

And, in short, we're back to wether it should be possible to prepare for a ko2-tournament with your original disc or not... Imho that is vital, as long as we're still a ko2-community and not a "ko2015"-community. And especially considering players of top level giving qualified stories on how they have learned to play "around" the trap-slide, wich the said Trapfix removes, I think it wouldn't be fair to have the Trapfix permanently on. I can easily see that the game feels smoother and that the trap-slide looks ridiculous, but that's not a valid argument imho. At least not considering it looks more ridiculous having the goalie running through the net and around on the dark side of the moon...

isn't pbd doing that tho? helping exploit the keeper bug? of all the bugs that's been ironed out this one just seems... mad... and like i say, it seems to benefit the top players only and destroy the lesser player

i'm all for enhancing the ko2 experience, pbd, no autoslides etc, but seems odd to pick and choose which bugs or additions are cut, wouldn't all or nothing be more fair to all?
