I appear to be quite competent at organizing my travels however I am not so confident about my ko2 skills.

Thanks Danny, I appreciate your effort and enthusiasm!
By the way, we will get to play KO2 on Friday too as Premier Inn have allowed me to set up the Amigas on Friday night.

I'm looking forward to the weekend.
Do you need any kit Andy? I can bring my Philips 8833MKII monitor with me if needs be, it's been reconditioned and everything

I'm bringing 3 TVs of various levels of runtiness, so a proper monitor would be swift-approved.
I also have an amiga monitor but it blew up last year. Now just buzzes with no picture. Do you reckon it's fixable or should I bin it?

Right, I'll bring it then.
Re. Your one, that sounds like the LOPT (fly back transformer) has gone just like mine. I had to source one from Ireland and get it shipped to a repair place 10 miles from where I live to get it fitted. Total cost was about 90-100quid, but it does mean the thing should be good for another 20 years.

Crikey. Yup, LOPT sound familiar, must have googled it when it blew.
May have a go at fixing it myself. It only gets used at UKCs, so that gives me a year or so to get onto it

As I understand it, Durban, Ely, Ian K and Danny will be arriving Friday night. I think you all have my mobile number, so please give me a ring when you arrive or if you need me to collect you from the train / coach station!
Re: Bournemouth International UKC KO2CV 10th Birthday BeachP
I think Steve is too, but I could be wrong.
