AutoFix No = Your CPU controlled team mates will randomly do slide tackles and headers without your consent. (As in KO2 when it was released)
AutoFix Yes = Your CPU controlled team mates will not slide tackle or do headers. (KO2CV special feature)

TrapFix No = When you press fire to trap, you may slide even though you are nearest the ball. (As in KO2 when it was released)
TrapFix Yes = When you press fire to trap and you are nearest the ball, you will trap the ball. (KO2CV special feature)

Also in the version you have, when you slide into the ball you can use your joystick to select the direction the ball is kicked, as in sensible soccer.

I was conducting some practice tonight and I'm startled ! I'm used to press and hold the fire button before my player gets the ball. When he then gets the ball he should trap it.

KOCV1.17 under UAE wasn't doing this. Hopefully it's a UAE emulation issue? None of the above options change this default behaviour right?

I doubt it's anything to do with UAE. What did you see instead of the trap you expected?

If it was an immediate kick, then maybe your joystick has autofire on, or if it was a slide then it's probably the classic trapslide feature.

The TrapFix I implemented only takes effect the instant you press the button. If you simply keep the button held then you are at the mercy of original KO2 code and what you see is what you will always have seen.

Thanks for the reply.

I was expecting my player to stop and trap the ball but instead they kick it immediately. I think it's the joystick or the joystick settings however I can confirm that auto fire isn't on.

Will check with another joystick tonight.

You were right about autofire Steve. I've never before seen this option in UAE but there it was, set to on.
