Usually the Italian Championship is hosted in Milan but, after the very nice experience we had at RetroAcademy 2014 tournament the past year (LINK) we decided to organise the main tournament in that place.
The tournament is open to foreigners and of course you are welcome to the gathering!
We are already organizing the trip from MIlan to Papozze, the city where the tournament and the RetroAcademy are hosted. to bring some hardware and players of course!
Venue is already confirmed and the fee will be 0 Euros as we are guest of the retroAcademy.

I know you liked it, it isn't the best one you have ever seen but It is cheap, quiet, clear, 30 seconds walk to venue, 3 minutes walk to Kick Off House.
If you need it, please, ask me and I can reserve a room at a better price for you!
Of course the Kick Off House will be open to play KO2 for the whole week end, but it isn't a news.
The plan is to start the car trip to Papozze on Saturday early morning after a good Cappucino break fast at "Torrefazione" once we arrive at RetroAcademy, we will add our hardware, and we play then. Of course we can visit the RetroAcademy in which there will be organized also a Street Fighter III on SEGA DreamCast (we can join it too). After the Pizza dinner we will come back to Milan, planning to arrive before midnight.
We will use last world cup settings and the format will be a league 1x group.
As said, foreigners are welcome, don't worry about the fact that the tournament isn't in Milan, we have cars and room in.
