Next tournament ?

Postby Danny D » Sun Dec 14, 2014 10:00 pm

When and where is the next ko tournament ? Is there anything planned or likely to happen in the first half of 2015 ? A few months of practice is all I need !

'mike's birthday tourney 2015 edition' - mid April, most likely in Voitsberg. Normally a minimalistic four-man-tournament with little skill but plenty of beer.

Voitsberg , let me google the location.

update 1: OMG , it's Austria and not Germany !

update 2: It's near Graz and I was in Graz a couple of years ago.

update 3: How the heck do I get from Ireland to Graz, must google this..

My travel-tip: Fly to Vienna. Train or rental-car the rest. About a 2 hour drive.

Not just any 2 hour drive, an epic scenic trip through the mountains.

I did the drive from Vienna to Graz a few years ago and while the scenery was nice I was sure that it was at least 4/5 hours !

update 1: You are all correct, it's 2 hours. I now remember we went to somewhere west first, a tiny town about 2 hours west of Vienna and then down to Graz.

We should all go to VoitsBurg in March !!!!

Vienna is a four flight, four train journey undertaking (roundtrip) :(

What about the Brits?

BritLand is one flight away and I've about 8 BritLand airports to chose from...

Ah. Not very central for easy access to tourneys...
