When and where ? Who makes the decisions, does the winner's country host? I'm gonna buy a konix speedKing and get practicing !

Question: Is it wise to avoid island nations given the current KOA active numbers?
My line of thought here is to avoid loosing those who would only attend if they can drive or get the train. Is there a hardcore who only travel by car/train ?

Well... No.
Ease of access, airfare, touristic interest, hotel-prices etc. It would be cool to hold it a place where we could rise our numbers as well.

Of course, if you'd require players to bring equipment it would be a bonus to be able to get there by car or train.

My suggestions -

1) Holland (not sure where). This would require our Dutch friends to come back to life, perhaps persuaded by Gunther?

2) Barcelona - I am sure this was on the cards at one point, would mean Rodolfo could certainly be there but it would be hard to organise as no one actually lives there.

3) UK - As I have said I cannot guarantee the safety of the KOA in my home country outside of London otherwise I would host a Manchester WC! Not gonna happen tho.

4) Copenhagen - Loved it and wanna go back!

All those suggestions gets my vote, but I'd like to add

5) Cologne - Loved it! Might resurface some germans.

6) Rome - they deserve an opportunity to make a better world cup than last time. ;-)

7) Athens - It was perfect in 2008. And think of all the local greatness; Spyros, Vasillis, Nikos, Antonis, George etc.

Jorn,

Can't do Cologne as its Germany 2016.....thats gonna happen for sure ;)

ROME/ATHENS is fine by me but trying to keep the whole 'new' or 'old' countries theme going where possible ;)

True, we're SO gonna go Osnabrück in 2 years, so scratch Cologne. We can go to Cologne again in 2020.

Sooo, Rome/Athens is too close in time, but Copenhagen is not? ;)

If we go to Cologne next year Mel will be there 100%

This could be good or bad depending on your view ;)

Copenhagen gets special dispensation as it rocks!!!

Rome / Athens is not an issue its just that we seem to go to Italy every odd year at the moment ;)

Athens I think is ready for another WC, its been what 10 years or something since the last?

I would also vote for a SEATTLE or South African World Cup - but no one could afford that ;)
