Is this correct? Remember it's only a game!

I'm in neither camp but I believe we should have respect for our elders, and this elder created Kick Off! Imagine the possibilities if he was onboard with this project! Hopefully It's not too late to get him onboard. Let's get this crappy situation fixed !

Danny, firstly hi mate - been a while.

Secondly what attacks are being made?

Agree we should respect the person who brought all these games to us, but would also want to make sure any attacks are actual attacks as well etc.

Its Italians using his name in a matter of respect and perhaps not understanding the nuances of the english language but using it as a medium. There is nothing malicious there in my opinion and is being blown out the water it would seem although i Know Dino has a lot of background of this being done to him so can understand why he would be defensive about it.

I read it as a 'remake' of a game by dino dini.

Not a 'dino dini remake' of a game.

But then again my grasp of the English language is no better than our Italian friends

It would have been equally bad to have made the game and not mentioned the original i suspect so they were in a no win situation from the start.

I agree with you, it would appear that this storm in a tea cup was initially caused due to a lost in translation moment.It could have been resolved quickly instead of all this.

Absolutely barmy.

As Dino says the kickoffworld guys english is bad...

But lets be honest if someone hs spent time making (or remaking) a game why on earth would they intentionally put someone elses name on it?

Dino is angry and I am sure he believes legitimately because someone has besmirched his hard work, but these guys have put in a lot of hard work to make their version of the game there is no way on earth that they would then put someone elses name on it. I dont see the logic in doing that, because there is non.

Its like a band putting coldplays name on their album to get more sales....absolutely ridiculous.....

I just personally feel the reasons being used here are not really the issue.....

Dont know what is and im sire there is legitimacy in those issues but there is more
To this than just using Dino's name in a tweet.

Hello Guys,

After more than 10 years i'm back on this forum.
Randomly surfing the net last friday, i found the NEW PlayerManager 2015 !!

And i'm very happy to try this, that's what we wanted 20 years ago! No?

So i initiated my two sons to PM play, and now... they are totally addicted (Oups! My wife is :evil:

)
Improvements are pretty good, but my christmas wish is... European Cups
Yes the goalkeepers are very bad (but for my children, it's that they need).

If someone here is interested, i translated the game in FRENCH language, and i did a "swiss" player's names list.

But another question: A long time ago, we acquired some shares for the new (dead?) UPM...
So i sent several hundred dollars to Steeve S. but nothing happens... (or more precisely: What happens whit this project ?) and were is the money? Have you recovered yours?
