14th KO2 WORLD CUP: Format

Hello there, here you are the 2014 world cup format.


Round 1 (Saturday)

2 Groups of 13 players.
Players of each group will face all the players of the same group once.
The players that will reach the first 8 positions of the 2 groups will proceed for the World Cup. The players from the 9th to 13th positions of the two groups will proceed for the Silver Cup.

After Round 1 is over, the last player of Group A and Group B will play for the Game of Shame.
Once the GOS is over, there will be a 4 players 2Vs2 demonstration match called "The 10 World Cups Match". Gianluca(3), Gianni(3), Dagh(2) and Alkis(2) will play in a single 2Vs 2 players match. the losers will offer a beer to the winners.


Round 2 (Sunday morning)

The 16 players of the world cup are split in 2 groups of 8 players (1A,2B,3A,4B,5A,6B,7A,8B / 1B,2A,3B,4A,5B,6A,7B,8A) and they will face all the players of the same group once.

The players of the silver Cup will play in a group of 10 players and they will face the players of the group once.

Round 3 Play Off - Play Out (Sunday afternoon)

The first 4 players of the 2 world cup groups will proceed to the World Cup quarter finals play off - play out
The players from the 5th to 8th position of the World Cup groups will proceed for the World Cup 9 to 16 play off - play out

The Silver Cup groups will proceed with the semi finals play off play out

A part the World Cup 3/4 Final and the Silver Cup final, all the play off and play out are 2X Matches.
As usual there is no goal home/away rule.
