RetroAcademy Kick Off Tournament 3 May 2014

Hi all,
A kick Off Tournament will be held at the RetroAcademy 2014 event in Papozze, north east Italy, "near" to Venice on 3rd May
This big Retro event is organized by Fabrizio Radica it will gather many exhibitors of Hardware and software.
Few amiga stations will be set up to play kick off and in the morning they will be free for friendlies. after lunch, the tournament will take place.
The winner of the tournament will play against a Sensible Soccer Champion player for an exciting super cup final. it will be the first time for a such "interracial" match. Formula: 1 match on KO2 and one match on SWOS. the aggregate score wins.

Beside the usual KOA faces, it will be easy that some people, visiting the RetroAcademy will join the tournament too.
I would love to have some of you there, but I understand that it isn't as easy as to get Milan. anyway, of some brave of you wants to join the tournament, Fabrizio has good contacts for some cheap B&B in place. contact me and I'll be your voice.
From Milan we will do a touch and go kick off day, so early wake up and late good night, but we won't sleep in Papozze.

Guys, that game is embarrassing! ball control is embarrassing. the challenge for the ball is embarrassing. the switching mechanic is embarrassing, the shooting mechanics is embarrassing. embarrassing! embarrassing! embarrassing!!!!!!
that game had just few very good ideas and and a better graphic, but the game play is behind light-years from kick off.
If kick off had real names and real players remembrance, no one would have even remembered the name of sensible soccer.
Beauty is only skin-deep. Sensible soccer is the demonstration that this proverb is false!

I see you won the first match 3-2. You are so nerd that you wrote your score in binary code.
Did they pass that score board to add it in the data base? I don't think it passed the Alkis Standard data base entry (ASDBE)

It's a fun game, but it's not football. It's a hockey-golf hybrid. If you examine the ball closely, you will see that it moves, behaves and even sounds like a hard, heavy golf ball.

I agree with you Giannu, the gameplay is far behind kick off.
I recently had a quick season and what annoys me more are the static tactics, there is too space between players.
