UK Championships 2014 (Vote for a date)

Postby durban » Fri Mar 28, 2014 2:08 pm

Dear all,

Please Vote for your preferred date, I am keeping the dates at a minimum for simplicity.

Poll will run for 60 days from today, but would like to start organising within 30 so please ensure everyone visits the forum as Facebook can go f*ck itself.

Looks like a landslide for option 5...

My vote is "any of the above".

..or ideally "all of the above".

I would love to come to this event. If it takes place in july, it would be nice to know as soon as possible because flights are expensive that time of year :)

Where will the event take place?

The location is still being decided, but you would be very welcome to join the fun wherever we end up :)

I went with #6, as last weekend of July is my 10 year anniversary, so only my wife matters especially for that one!
I need to plan something big....

first weekend in August is fine for me, but its my dads birthday (which has been the case the past two years)

Unlike Sid I put KO2 first and Family second ;) :)

Chris, the event will be in one of four places.

1) Gloucester
2) Birmingham
3) London(ish)
4) Bournemouth

Bournemouth would be a non starter for you I think, its out of the way from any major airport (it does have an airport but I think only paper planes can fly there these days)

Gloucester is my favourite as I want to entice 3 MAJOR Fan Favourites to attend (win) the event - chances of that happening are low but worth a try

Birminghan / London would be easiest for you I guess as both have major airports (Gloucester has a Bus Stop and an International Combine Harvester terminal)

I can do all of the above dates EXCEPT July 12th (my cousin's wedding).

I voted for August because later in the year gives me a little bit longer to sort out my various health issues.
