Surely we can use that software which is quite simple. I can bring also my laptop. I can do also the secretariat job, but don't count me on the tournament side as player!

So... if the Austrians get people to enter the results, can you provide the software?

We really appreciate it! Of course, I'll also help in any way I can. What are your thoughts on the format?

One thing; Alkis MUST NOT be allowed to speak with the microphone.

Well, I didn't think so deep to a possible format, anyway you know I'm for to play the most possible players trying to balance the fact that last year we played too many matches and many bothered because we are getting old, fat, ugly and probably foul-smelling.
So my point would be:
Day one
1 big league (1 leg of course 19 matches each player). This means that the Seeding is no needed, basically Day one will dictate the seeding.
Day 2
According with the final standing, players will be seeded and divided in 4 groups and they will play 2X (8 matches each)
then the first 2 of each group go to world cup 1to 8 position with quarter>semifinals>finals with play out games which is 6 matches more for a total of 14 matches in day 2 each player (13 for the 3/4 place final). the others go in to the silver cup.
Silver: like the world cup, quarter>semifinals and finals so 6 more games each player for a total of 14 matches in day 2.
the last 4 players play semi finals and finals + penalty of shames for the last 2 to be honoured with the magnificent shirt of shame.

So basically you agree with me completely about Day 2, but you propose one big league on Saturday instead of two groups.

I'm not totally against this idea, but it could backfire on us if things start looking better and our numbers increase. It's not out of the question, I mean you said that Lorenzo C and Gianluca P are coming even though they haven't registered yet, and there are others who are probable, like George, Ektoras and Cornelius.

Where do we draw the line? I think 18 matches in one day should be our limit, it's already too high and many people were destroyed by that many games last year. How about:

19 players or less: One group in Round 1
20 players or more: Two groups in Round 1

Unluckily Gianluca P cannot make it and the same for Tommaso. I doubt there will be others Italians to attend apart those who already registered.
I agree with the limit of 20 players to keep 1 leg, but there is another question that it is no secondary, if we are 20 we have to play a aggregate sum of 190 matches which is a quite good number of games.
Michael more or less, how many amiga stations will be placed at our disposal?
Knowing this we can make some counts to see if the big league is doable or we have to split in 2 to reduce aggregate matches.
Coming by car I think I have some room to bring something with me, but, coming with the kid and wife, I guess that I will not have much room. I can bring at least one complete amiga station with 1084S monitor though, if necessary.

Said that, I would prefer to listen the Silver cup Master's opinion (Rodolfo) to define the silver cup format.
BTW please Rodolfo, if I was in your shoes, I would stop saying International. Organizers are not to blame because for little attendance, they are organizing the World Cup. Once per year there is the world cup. Michael made the bid, that has been agreed by the KOA. fullstop.
