I just checked the Wiki, and it's about 4 years outdated. I thought I'd give it a brush-over, but can't seem to be entitled to. Who holds the controls there? And can others be given rights to update stuff?

Good point. Go to ko-g and visit the "main site" and you are greeted with 2009 info. How embarrassing.

I think it got spammed to death so was completely disabled to new registrations.

I can probably hack the DB and give you access tho if you want?

I've PM'ed Neeeekos, checking if he's Da Man with Wiki-control, but no answer yet.

If you could "hack" it Mark, it would be cool. I'd like to update it a bit.

Ok, Wiki is outdated. Our version is ancient. 1.4.7 . Current is 1.22.1. I experimented with upgrading a year ago, can't remember what I did. There was something that I asked Durban but I don't remember what, I think SSH access to execute the update script. And as far as I remember, we need to upgrade to older version first, then to the latest.

At the moment, I can log in but most pages are incompatible with a Wikimedia extension.. I can just have a look at it and see what I did to upgrade and to what version. But as far as I know, SSH will be needed. At the moment, it's a no go.

If you guys are interested I could do a new joysticks page as I'm interested in old game controllers and therefore know a bit about them. I think it would be nice to add some info on who uses which stick and a list of successful controllers. Just let me know which format you need and then give me some time...

Nikos has done loads of work, and now just needs me to do some little bit...but I am lost for time and lost about what I need to do as I foolishly isntalled a newer version but then have the issue of moving it over...everything is lost...will sort when I get a chance to spend an evening looking at it.

As said earlier, I'd like to update the text a bit, from time to time. But to do that we need to have a group of members who have proper access. At the current I don't.
