You're not going to believe this folks but... it seems I'm responsible for Saturday entertainment due to excitedly grabbing it by the horns and exclaiming I could have a mammoth tournament at mine. Well unfortunately my 2 year old is suffering night terrors and I underestimated what it's like with a 4 month old (b&q is my new home lol)
SO!
In Sgt Swifts fine traditions of taking the bull by the horns, I've negotiated access to the conference room for NO EXTRA COST from 6PM on Saturday Night.
So we can either go Karting OR have the equivalent of two UK Champs - one on Saturday and one on Sunday. So whatever the cost of the rooms was...you can now divide it by two. Which in my opinion represents unbelievable value for money!!
I was originally more up for the go-karting but fuck it...lets play kick off 2!
I'll email/FB everyone individually again and please Mr. Swift, don't be late this time!
Confirmed Players

Andy
Garry C

If we get enough, we will have two leagues...one for existing players and one for players returning. With a FA Cup style competition running at various times (not seeded...just draw people out the hat. luckof the draw!)

Re: UK Champs 2013 - Saturday Night - Option 1
possibilities are endless mate and means that people travelling far such as yourself won't have a wasted journey. Instead, as with the fine traditions of other tournaments...we'll have played that many times we'll be SICK of kick off by the end of it lol
If we get some new players I think it will be important to have a tournament for them to sample how we roll. Also the structure and intensity of tournament games is fucking awesome and what we would have done at my house - but with access to the room also gives us a chance to riff on things and the time plus space, for the team games as well.
Basically, we play Andy loads of times to work out how to beat him

Think Evil might have just jump-started the UKCs! Way to go mate.
Multiple leagues, knock-outs, team KO2 - all sounds ace to me. I'll pack my 4p adaptor to offer the 2v2 option as well...

That Drunken Master Tourney was ace wasn't it, Andy. The memories are bit hazy obviously though I still remember playing Dagh with Aha's Take on Me booming in the background. Great times! I bet there'll be some alcohol involved this time too.

Yes mate! Cannot wait!
We must have Jon G attend at least one of the days, he is local after all! Anyone heard from him?

We have a solution.
There is a hotel across the road called Travellers Inn, 2 minute walk away from Holiday Inn.
I have just booked a Single room with no breakfast for £42.50. Cooked breakfast is an extra £5 if you want it.
