Having the player do a slide if the player holds it done for too long completely eliminates any chance of cheating. For me this version brings the best of both worlds. We now have the game at it's pinnacle with PBD choice, A=B too as well as the recent addition which everyone likes such as removing auto slides. The one grey area thats always existed was the unintended trap fix bug which whilst successfully erased could result in people cheating and hence the phrase 'KO2 for dummies' was coined. But now with this version, the opportunity to hold down the button has been removed, making this the most pure and fun version of KO2 ever released.

It is so nice to read such words written by one of the fathers of Kick Off 2! If I was Camberman, I would be really proud of myself! :)

Unluckily I didn't try this version yet but I count to do it soon!
I'm really glad that "finally" you touched the code for the woodwork count issue! According with what Alkis spotted with his picture, hope you can fix the fix!

Steve, although the 'Woodwork Hits' counter in the stats works correctly, the caption that appears when the ball hits the post and goes out of bounds does not always register them. Check out this screenshot, taken early in the game when the ball hit the post and went out for the first time:

Dammit!
I gave the beta testers the night off for this release. So now we see how important these heroes are to KO2CV ;)
I'll get this fixed for the next release. I'm already working on something cool so hopefully the wait won't be too long..

greetings!

one stupid bug is not solved and isn't part of the gameplay we love.

when a player makes foul OUT of the pitch, and refree whistles for freekick, the ball at the end always goes to a team that made foul, because when you try to make a freekick from outer zone, refree whistles again for out.

can this be solved?

That's a good one, Mike. I'll add it to the Wish List.

what is avg.goal dist. in end half / game stats?

i've just scored 3 lobs, nither one if them closer than 39.6m and my avg.goal dist. is 13m (it's 3:3 currently).

it's obviously not what i thought it is.
