Wish! Please Steve Camber read this!
I always been wishing to play KO2 with offside rule to avoid attacker to be unmarked.
I think it could be easy to implement with this simple logic:
Goal: avoid attacker to be behind the defenders
Implementation:
Step 1:
Calculate the last defender position.y
Step 2:
offsideline = Max(lastdefender.position.y , ball.position.y)
Step 3:
for each player of team with ball possession:
if (player is not controller by the human) then tactic.y = Min(tactic.y ,offsideline)
that's should enough to implement a rough but efficient offside in KO2

Yes, this has been requested before and should be fairly simple to do.

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
I merged this with the main wish list topic, and added Gianluca's idea to the list.

thanks
Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
Steve, if there's enough space for it and it's possible, it would be great if as in addition to the distance, height and ball speed of a scored goal you could also add the degrees of the angle in relation to the goal. That way we could observe the most and less frequent angles from where goals are scored.
Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
36. Ball constantly gravitates towards the centre (SteveC)
Harder to score
37. Animating crowd (SteveC)
They have been static too long
38. Beach ball mode (SteveC)
Everyone knows big balls are fun
39. Lobbing CPU AI (SteveC)
CPU AI could do with becoming a challenge again
That bloke SteveC stealthily added some new suggestions while no one was looking! Steve Camber, I know there is no KOA member with such a username but will you consider them?
(seriously, this 'lobbing CPU' bit sounds like a dream... Let me know if you need it tested!)

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
Well this idiot has come up with feasible suggestions. In fact they all sound fun to do

Re: The KO2CV Wish List: Revisited
another unsolved bug:
sometimes, altough very, very rare, goalkeaper jumps out of the 16m zone WITH the ball in hands, and refree is silent. then goalkeeper stands up, and kicks ball or passes it to a nearby player, like in 16m zone. can this be a freekick?

It could be a free kick if we want.

I'm not sure about this, I mean the player holding the joystick does nothing wrong so why should he be punished? If you do it, please make it optional if possible.

If the goalkeeper dives for the ball and leaves the area ... straight red card!
