there CAN'T be any scoring from the midfield!!! Its forbidden by Steve and his Federation. When you score a goal like this, it just won't count.

I can sore easily from the midfield with the high ball. But I can only make a goal like this when I play with a joystick. I've never managed a midfieldgoal with the keyboard.;

What ?? No long range shots ?

Surely, any way to get the ball into the back of the net should count as a goal. Why discriminate ?

What !! Can people not defend against midfield shots ? That is bad luck as if the ball crosses the goal line then it is a goal.

ALL GOALS COUNT !!

Some long range goals are ok, i mean ones just outside the box I have no probs with them. Shots from near half-way line are easy to do and unbalence the gameplay. For instance, everytime you get a kick off you can attempt a goal from it, one out of 3 times u will score..;

With a joystick the midfield goal is not to difficult but with a keyboard it's a whole different matter. I've never managed to get the ball so high with a keyboard? Anyone who can do this with a keyboard?

No, it's too hard on a Keyboard and it's not that easy on my sidewinder either! <IMG SRC="/koboard/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Funny how peoples tastes are different with control? I love the keyboard..sidewinder control is complete pantry... you don`t run up the field, you zig zig hahah
ain`t tried a joystick but I got my joyboard thing..that doubles up as the keyboard layout, only that it plugs into the joy port.;

Yeah the Sidewinder's crap for high <IMG SRC="/koboard/images/smiles/icon_ball.gif">s and doesn't seem to impart the same amount of aftertouch as my old/long dead zipstick.

Any recommendations for the PC ?;

Surely i can say scoring from midfield with keyboard is harder but , not impossible . I do it several times. Also if you want a joystick everyone will offer you the Alkis joysticks <IMG SRC="/koboard/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif"> but my choice is Quickshot's Pyhton 5 , it was Python 1 when i used to play with amiga. Python 5 doesnt have excellent durability but its sensitivty is superb.;
