Congratulations to Gianni.
Congratulations to Alki. I knew he would be in the final and kept mentioning it in the last tournament.
Hope everyone had great time.

Well done winning again Gianni, you´re close to unbeateble. Also well done Alkis reaching the final. Im happy for Panhorst winning the silvecup, about time when it feels like you reached the final a couple of times.
Two performances that clearly is sticking out, appart from several already metioned before, is that when it´s all over then i do belive Andy and Lorenzo reaching the semifinals is nothing but clean progress, two superb achievements!

What the others said. Congratz Gianni for another title, I hope Alkis isn't too disappointed. Some very impressive performances, well done, Andy! And well done Panni for bringing a small title back home.

Congratulations to Gianni! Such an emphatic victory too. Having the best attack and best defence only heightens the immense achievement of your hat-trick of World Titles
I thought Alkis was honourable in defeat too, who nevertheless had a fantastic World Cup with an amazing semi-final battle with Andy G, who himself was a sensation for us English to cheer on. For your first World Cup you were simply outstanding mate. Lorenzo C (new name and new improved player!) was a very worthy semi-finalists who I know first hand from our quarter-final encounter, is frighteningly good!
Congratulations to Joerg for a superb Silver Cup win after an extremely close battle with Jorn. Looking forward to watching the recording of this match.
Sorry about the 'slim fit' but I hope you can wear your Shirt of Shame wth pride, Wolf. Your Shootout of Shame with Thomas N although didn't make the big screen was such great fun to watch. Thomas made not one but two penalty saves - amazing! Thanks again to Peter S and Wolf for the unexpected gift - we shall enjoy it!
Last but not least, congratulations to the 'new look' Durban for the Lifetime Acheivement Award. Richly deserved mate.

Re: Gianni Torchio wins the world cup back!
Thank you all for your words!
A sensational world cup. I just want to say that I bought my laptop with me this year, to start to write part of my chronicles (to not post them in January, as usually I do) but it was actually impossible to write anything: there where such interesting and exciting matches (sometimes even 2 at the same time!) that I even forgot to eat!!!!
Fantastic.
Thanks again to Steve, Simon Gaz, the ladies at the desk and all the people to help somehow to make this event possible, so practically speaking, everyone of you who attended this world cup!
Long Live to the KOA!!!
