Bad news for everyone and bad news for me personally after my last stick died this tuesday. Up world cup creek without a paddle, as they say. Think we've got a few spares to overcome my individual problem though.
Like Steve suggests, would be great if a bunch of KOA'ers got something together to produce these as a sideline? Be a ready made captive market around here...

At least the PC-Amiga conversion process is still a possibility for those who like this stick.
You have to wonder why they are still selling PC joysticks that use the PC gameport instead of USB. How long will they keep that up? They also sell a separate gameport-USB adapter.. but no Amiga-USB adapter..

They are selling them because they still have some left. Notice that the USB to gameport adapters are also finished (they only sell them bundled with the joysticks and they have very few). Also, they (and we) have tried different adapters but they don't work with the joystick, as they were made for flightsticks.
BTW, the minimum amount for new production would be 10000 pcs, which is obviously too much.

Why would you want to connect your Amiga to a USB port?

I have been looking into the costs of producing a retro style joystick since last winter. If CMS stop completely, do you know if they would sell their tooling equipment?
