We have the game ported to windows Mac and freebsd as well as the iPhone version.

We have built a 3d engine for prototyping ball physics which we are now working on.

I hope to have new screenshots and videos showing progress soon.

Dino back on KO2?

Postby Steve Camber » Thu Jun 16, 2011 1:25 pm

"It should also allow me to port Kick Off 2 and GOAL! later, and update them… so if this approach works it should be a big win."

Maybe we'll be getting KO2 on a variety of handhelds?

Kick Off 2 is already on handhelds thanks to WinUAE ports, and it's always total shite because of the controls.

That's hardly Dino's fault. When did you become British Alkis? Not everything is shite.

Whats wrong with this place? Do we have to be so cynical?

Dino working on KO2 / PM again is awesome 8)

I miss Gianluca :(

Obviously!

It's just that I detest handhelds and I never understood how some people believe that in the 52'' inches TV era playing games with your thumbs staring at a wristwatch display is supposed to be fun.

Not when it's the 40th time you hear it in the past decade. :) I bought it the first 10 times, but as I said the previous 29, I'll applaud the final result when I see it. But the usual outcome of Dino dropping out due to the lack of interest by publishers is much more probable.

I miss Gianluca :(

So do I.

What Alkis said.

... and anyway ... working from the original KO2 source code is so 5 years ago ... should be working from Steve's uber version
