Totally NOT done.

This, along with other things, has been done - just not released yet! v1.05 is nearly ready ;)

Kostas O wrote:19. Deny control to floored players (Freshmaker)
If i'm not terribly wrong this is DONE.

Correct, it's been an option for a while now.

Kostas O wrote:I love the bug when a player runs to go to the toilet when a corner kick is taken!

This is possibly related to substitutions. When the substitution system gets a well needed overhaul this incontinence problem may at last get solved!

Naturally, I will fight the implementation of this suggestion as anything than a JFF option passionately, as I do with every suggestion that proposes the cancellation of a goal everyone has been scoring for 20 years.

And then we're back to the slippery slope. :) Seriously, if we're gonna remove bugs, then let's remove them. If we wanna keep bugs in, because thei've been there since the start and everyone should know how to live with them, then let's keep them all.

My stance is rather simple:

"Keep 'em all" vs "Kill 'em all"

Either we totally polish the game to be as bug-free as possible, or we leave it. I'm seriously against that we should "leave preferred bugs in" if we go bug-hunting. As John's suggested earlier, the game should at best be so that you can prepare for the WC with the original disk from 1990. The way it is now, you can't.

Suggestion: would it be possible to remove the routine at the beginning of the second half which lines up the players? Could it be tweaked so that they re-enter the pitch and then go directly to their assigned starting point (depending on if they are taking the kick off or not)?

The idea popped into my head while reading Dino's blog

I like it, in fact I think it could be applied to the beginning of the 1st half as well.

Easy enough to do. You would miss that little reminder of who's been red carded though, and don't get to see who is getting tired.

Is it easy enough to have it as optional? :) It would be great for series of friendlies for instance.

I can see how an "instant-restart" would keep things moving quickly but those few seconds are also a valuable time to change tactic whether attacking or defending a kick off.

That said, a KO2CV option would be the best of both worlds.

What if Steve allowed tactics to be altered on the half-time screen?

Your suggestion certainly overcomes the drawback I mentioned. Not sure about the extra work this would add for Steve though? And if both players then go through screens individually confirming/changing tactic at HT, how much would this undermine the "instant restart" objective? Maybe simpler to try out a CV menu option first?

Super foolness!

It only takes a second to reach over to the keyboard and press a number key.

Glad this is just the wishlist, keep the crazy talk here ;)

It can take some of us more than a second to remember to press a key though! :oops: :lol:

Seriously though, if there's enough time to press a key and for the players to re-position themselves then clearly changing tactics isn't a problem. :)

Steve, in the next version how about renaming the division teams to something more contemporary?

I'm thinking:

Beard team -> Stender team
Fullarton team -> Paraschis team
Polyrakis team -> Torchio team
Troiano team -> Nielsen team

Steve, I'm reading the suggestions and I wonder, haven't these two been implemented already?
