Help needed

I recently downloaded Kick off 2 and their are a couple of things I need help with firstly when my player is injured what buttons can I use to bring on my subs I know it used to be f4/f5 on the amiga ,but it isnt now
secondly on playing the league /cup which button is it to choose the team you want to be it used to be f1 on the amiga
but it's not now is their something im not doing or is it another key help!!!

Hello, and welcome to the KOA.

Pressing F4-F5 (or F9-F10 as Team B) does call for a substitution and pressing F1 does select a team during a league. You remember correctly. Are you sure there isn't a key that activates/deactivates your function keys on your keyboard? Do they work before running WinUAE?

One thing that usually confuses people is that if you're Team B and your player is injured, you need to press F4-F5 instead of the normal F9-F10 you press during play.

What Alkis said about the substitution keys. I'm not familiar with the cup/league options but from a quick look on winuae it doesn't seem that you can play in these modes? All I seemed able to do was select CONTINUE and the result appears?

What version of KO2 are you using? I just tried KO2 1.4e. For more info on the many features within the competition version go to the KO2CV index.

Of course you can play, you just need to press F1 and the 'C' next to the team changes to 'J' which means that it will be controlled by joystick.

Im still having problems due to the fact i downloaded it two my laptop and all my f1 to f10 keys are also used for something to do with the laptop itself so when I press f1 and c for league it kicks me completely out of the game itself you will see im also a bit of a novice with all this modern technology so help still needed please!!!

You're not the only novice around here. Your laptop isn't a Dell is it? We have one but you can override the manufacturer's function key settings by holding down the Fn key while you press the function key. Have you tried something like that?

When the amiga launched Kick Off 2 it had a lot of add ons ie champions of europe final whistle something to do with formations and the rest now firstly are they still around and secondly can they be added on to the downloaded version
of kick off 2 the reason I ask is because ofthe downloaded version I've only got 433 424 formation and because at present Im alway losing blitz formation if I remmber correctly would come in handy

I'm still not sure which version you're using, mundo?

If it's KO2CV, follow the index link above and check out v1.05. You'll see a bug was fixed allowing all 8-tactics to be used in international matches, cups and leagues etc

These versions are available on the link below. Though they can't be automatically added to CV, there is talk about possibly incorporating some aspects in the future.
