Ok here are your stats -

7 M.M.Barrett MIDFIELD 196 186 87 169 132 159 170 34 2 98 178 82 25 26
7 R.Shaw MIDFIELD 200 193 121 169 147 82 187 127 16 74 164 67 18 75

R.Shaw plus points :-
Faster at the start with better stamina........
Shooting FAR better
Passing equal
Tackling Better
Agility Better
Agression Better (not sure if this is a plus point)
Flair a lot Better
Younger (he is 18 ffs!)
Better morale

M.M.Barrett Plus points :-

Resilience a LOT better
Keeping Better
A lot Taller

Also another question. Are A Nicholls and G Nicholls related do you think? Perhaps A Nicholls is the younger brother?

Do it Steve :)

I have always had R.Shaw as my favourite player, I am sure you all know the story about me turning up to Gloucester I without knowing I had never used the International teams and was distraught to lose Shaw.....although I presumed his replacement in the Int team would be far better doh!!!!

all my play up until that point (when I first played a friendly with Ely) was around R.Shaw

I played 4-2-4 because of Shaw on the wings, I loved him, I even had posters on my wall!!!!

then all of a sudden I lost shaw, I lost my wingers and I lost my style of play and had to go to 5-3-2 instead :(

I am now back at 4-2-4 again! 5-3-2 is out the window.

Would be brilliant to have SHAW as a default player, but i know this will never happen, so a JFF option will suffice :)

Oh and another thing I have.

Number 7 should be a fricking Right winger, everyone knows this

in PM the first thing I did was change the wingers over.

11 on the Left, 7 on the right!

11 is a Left winger or Left midfielder (in the days of proper numbering)

7 is usually the second striker behind 9

10 is usually the right winger (although can also be a striker or midfielder, its a 'special' number after all that all the worlds greatest players wear!)

8 and 6 should be midfielders.

3 Is left back

2 is right back

5 and 4 are Centre backs.

You have no idea how much this used to annoy me that the numbering was all over the show!

Although I do not request that it is fixed, as I am mellowed now :)

Love the new Durban and all this KO2 talk! Long may it continue. :)

May be if others couldn't live without Barratt, maybe Shaw could be added to the squad or bench even in place of someone else. I don't know but a substition/line-up change may be more agreeable to some. Not that I'm a huge Barratt fan or anything!

How about making him a sub?

Anyone all that excited about Hunt or Barker? We could lose one in favour of the mighty Shaw!!

Steve,

I believe that changing any of the lineups is not something we really want to contemplate.

I mean I don't mind changing, but KO2 is about standards and the standard team HAS to endure.

I think we can only really consider this as a JFF option.

I'm suggesting putting Shaw on the bench/squad - as a JFF option! :)

I'm not fussed either way really. When I used to play Kick Off I used to select different players so the game would still be as I remember it. :)

Myself and my mate just started playing Kick Off again for the first time in about 10 years easily. Anyways what brought me in here was the fact that Shaw bagged 4 against me in the last game we played :/ I now remember exactly how deadly that man is from the kick off. Back in the day me and the lads all took a team at the very start and had to stick with them basically for the rest of our lives. I had Sweden but had a short swapping spell with England aswell and my God was Shaw a goal machine.
