Who was on?

Did coward Swift actually make an appearance after 3 months of hard core training?

The regulars were on mate.. no sign of Swiftech still. I dont think he actually owns the game to be honest... he is just faking it..

A good evening of C&C3 was had...

Got some good 2v2 wins under the belt, although we got hammered in one game where a top 10 dude joined us.. he was on 90% wins after playing 500+ games.. highly elite dude.. very cool to have him to play against us.

Also had some decent 1v1 battles, undefeated as SCRIN still, but my NOD skills certainly have room for improvement...

yes but the question remains the same has the CS managed to make an appearance at this yet or have we lost all hope of him ever using his uber PC to be rubbish at this game?

Incidently I wanted to make you all jealous, the temp when I arrived in Durban was a sunny 87 degrees!!!

However since my first day its dropped to 65 and its raining all the time ffs :(

CS has still not shown any interest in joining our CnC3 evenings, but we have enough players to make evenings of 2v2 a reliable reality, maybe even up to 3v3 on occasion.

Ah mate.. that is typical ... what I then say is... "We have a mini summer in England.. its about 87 degrees outside"..  but that would be a porkie.. :D

I lost my first ranked game as Scrin last night... I got trounced by one of the best players currently in the game.. no idea why they automatched me against him.. I am nowhere near his level..

Back to reality for me over the weekend..

Friday, Saturday and Sunday night playing C&C3, but my good stats as Scrin on Automatch came to a bitter ending, losing about 5 games over the weekend.

My highest ranked opponent to date is rated 15th on the ladder, while I am down to about 3000th now.. still do not figure how automatch pitted me against so many high rated opposition..

I also managed to defeat an undefeated player which was a cool feeling after losing about 4 straight games against other ladder players..

Been using NOD and GDI as well over weekend and seem to be getting stronger with them.

Roll on Tuesday...

Dear people

I have changed my attitude to this game.

I wanted to take the time to go through the 1 player campaign and enjoy it, a bit at a time. But I am obviously missing out on your fun. I have decided to do what I did with Tiberium Sun, AOE3 and Generals (all of which had shite campaigns).... that is to say, fuck the campaign, I will just get into playing Skirmishes with the AI until I am elite. The special units skills and stuff I guess I will have to learn by trial and error. Indeed there was NO campaign in Sins of a Solar Empire and I never missed it.

With these online games, is every result tracked? Or is there some way to play unranked games with you so I can join sooner rather than later?

Don't worry, I haven't finished any campaigns, just don't have the time to spare :(

Results are tracked, but you can choose to play ranked or unranked online matches.
