Well, what about the design feature of the referee giving throwins to the wrong team.......

Surely as a bug-fan, Bounty Bob, you would be against this being removed from KO2CV.

Would you want some of the "bugs" reinstated from the current KO2CV version ? Say.. A==B.. thats not a bug, thats an intended design feature isnt it ?

What about adding some bugs for you? I have loads of ideas here, to make it more random.. which you are gunna love.

. Ref ends game anytime between 9 minutes and 20 minutes.. for a 10 minute game.
. Throw ins take place on the other side of the pitch to where it was awarded
. Teams change kit colours randomly, when its a corner, throw in or a goal kick
. Ref does not award a goal, when a goal has been scored (sometimes)
. Ref gives wrong team a goal (sometimes)
. Ref sends random player off when he goes to send a player off the pitch for a foul.
. At start of 2nd half, only a random number (between 1 and 15) of players turn up for each team.
. Players start in random positions for each team, so Barber could end up in goal... awesome randomness !!!
. <add more here>

When the Bug-Fan version is released, do you mind being a tester for it. We need someone to check that everything is random and everything about it is just so special ?

Generally this happens at Arsenal games, the referee may stop the game prematurely or extend the match depending on whether Arsenal are winning or losing respectively

Almost happened in real life ....Manchester United got a hammering from Southampton one season ... they changed kit at half time because 'grey' was unlucky ...

The one that sticks out is the truly dreadful bit of officiating which robbed Pedro Mendes of a goal, and Tottenham Hotspur of a victory, in a game against Manchester United. In the eighty-ninth minute of the game, Mendes tried a shot from 60 yards out. United's Roy Carroll fumbled what should have been an easy catch, and the ball crossed the line by perhaps three feet. Incredibly, the linesman kept his flag down and lucky United salvaged a point. I can also remember this happening in an Old Firm derby game as well (the ball hit the back net and bounced out so quickly the ref decided it must have hit the post)

JamesHBeard wrote:. Ref sends random player off when he goes to send a player off the pitch for a foul.

Numerous examples of this happening IRL

JamesHBeard wrote:. Players start in random positions for each team, so Barber could end up in goal... awesome randomness !!!

Have you ever watched Derby County play?

Some other ideas from real life:

. Give players a third yellow card (step up Mr Graham Poll)
. A random lightning strike on a wet pitch renders half the players unconscious
. Referee sends himself off for making a mistake
. Goalkeeper throws the ball into his own net
. Never giving a penalty despite hacking down the striker at every opportunity (see Andrew Johnson this season)

... and not forgetting the Multi-ball extra time from the Budweiser advert

Nothing beats Robert's suggestion of "Random Idiot": A KOAer who will stand above your head shouting while you're playing.
